It's over blown media hype and people not using common sense sanitary routines.
The stats are no way near the antimicrobial resistance problem that no one seems to want to talk about. And there a boat load of other pretty much pandemic health issues that the media and governments have been ignoring for years.
People love a good crisis, it gives them something to talk about
No I'm not stockpiling. Fresh stuff maybe harder to come by, but there will still be tinned food.
But anyway I don't really believe in the apocalypse scenario. Having said that I will buy a few extra bottles of red.

Was speaking to the guy in the gas mask shop this morning saying to him I think folk are overreacting....
I bought 72 toilet rolls over the past week and enough food to self isolate for two weeks. If you are expected to isolate yourself for two weeks, it's madness to look at an empty larder and shrug it off.
Anyway, surely a few million people dying in the southern hemisphere is good for the planet?

I've been off sick since Friday. Had to be diagnosed through triage because of my symptoms. They told me that unless I have shortness of breath that gives me the sense of drowning then I should just isolate until 48hrs from the fever passing.
I can infer from that that there's probably a few thousand people in the UK wandering around with this little bug, and that those who've been diagnosed are those severe cases or those who burden the NHS when their farts smell.
