How can you promote anyone from the Championship? Nobody is promoted yet and that kind of lead has been caught many, many times in many different leagues. I'm all for Liverpool being declared champions if those below them are willing to concede, but Championship clubs aren't going to concede and nor should they; that lead could be wiped out with 6 games still to play. You can't promote someone under those circumstances, surely not?
2. Postpone the euros until next summer and finish this season in the summer.
The Premier League has no say in this whatsoever.

1. Make the 19/20 season void and start again in August. Tough luck Liverpool.
............…...…
Who is to say we can start a new season in August ?,for all we know we wont be able to restart football until next February
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yep. If football can start in August, then that's when this season can be finished.
If the season were to carry on to the summer then a problem emerges with player contracts. They tend to expire on 30 June so that the season is well completed. But this year that may happen during the season
I think cancelling the Euros seems like a no brainier. You can’t have millions of football fans marauding around Europe when we’re now the epicentre for the virus.
The most likely option is to push back the season into summer.
We’d also avoid many legal hiccups. Although there’d still be other legal grounds to counter, for example, player contracts. But I think there’d be an agreement with the football governing bodies to allow players to play out the season. It is special and unprecedented circumstances.

So be it. They can either leave mid season or agree a short term extension
Scrap the season now and start afresh when it’s safe
If the season were to be pushed back, then surely the next season would be as well. I think it is a mess and a line drawn under this season, and all positions as they are with winners losers, relegation's and promotions.3
Some lose out, others win.
There is a possibility/probability that next season will be delayed as well.
Can't see anything other than the conclusion of this season to happen, whenever that will be. Thereafter there will be plans made for when the next tournaments/seasons will begin.
There's far too much up in the air to be resolved, so it has to be resolved through the playing of those games.
If certain factors become known as time progresses they can decide to scrap other games and award those as draws.

May not need to be all games played. If for example relelegation and top 4 places become known, they can scrap the remainder of games that involve those teams to hopefully claw back some time.
I think they should bring back the old Pools Panel to decide the scores of the remaining matches, if Lawrenson is on it we should end up about 12th.
Scrap the entire season, put it down to experience. Start next season in August (Corona permitting) with all teams in the positions they started this season.
Tough titty scousers!
6. If the delay to the current season goes on long enough to push into what would be the next season, then cancel this season.
No promotion or relegation. All teams stay in their current division.
However, all teams start next season with their current points total. Therefore no team loses/gains any points advantage.

Actually no, I don't wish. I think that is the most sensible solution although 5 months without any football would probably send the suicide rate through the roof. I happen to think Liverpool are good enough to do it all over again next season - no probs.
I can't see it not being finished at some point. Far too much at stake and not too many games left to play.

We just don't know do we? It could be all over in a few weeks or could still be with us for months. I guess it comes down to people taking it seriously and doing all the right things. As long as we have the gung ho, it'll never happen to me brigade we are always going to be struggling to put an end to it.

There's a quarter of the season left plus cup games for those still left in cup competitions.

Would be more sensible to delay/curtail the next season so the current one can be finished so every club gets the closure it needs based on the efforts exerted in this season.

Reduce the length of the following season, e.g. scrap the league cup and international breaks for a season.
