So to put it in a real life v football context..
Many, including I , dug out Adrian for his error in giving the ball away... that was an error, not intended, yet there was anger at that.
Imagine being told, by a doctor, that there is a conscious decision to not treat your loved one. That basically they are willingly letting them die.
It's not the doctors fault, but can you begin to even imagine the level of anger and anguish? You will be restricted from being with them in case of contracting the virus.
Will you remember the doctors name, the hospital, you'd be asking for the equipment etc to tend to them themselves. You'd just feel totally let down, that the taxes you've all paid for decades means absolutely jack..
It's absolutely awful.
All this probably started after somebody ate a Bat or a Pigeon or similar
yeah some caaaant in china who has probably now fully recovered and chilling with his feet up watching Netflix. caaaaant
But but but... It's all a conspiracy.
5g network caused it.
It's a leak virus engineered by the US Air Force.
It's a worldwide ploy to kill off the over 70s so they don't have to pay out on their pensions.
It's an excuse to insert tracking devices into the population disguised as a vaccine.
Etc... Etc...

Oh sandy give it a rest. For 99% of us, this is just another cold-type virus.
We'll likely catch it, feel crap for a small window and then recover like 99% of people.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Recovery is only about 93% though, the rest dies.

I hope you're right and Bumbling Boris is being stupid again, although the signs so far aren't pointing to that. 150k dead worldwide in only a few months.
well, apart from you quite blatantly pulling figures out of your ass. the simple fact is that on average, 150000 people die daily worldwide. 100000 of those due to age related causes.
so the number of deaths due to the coronavirus is insignificant in comparison. especially when you consider that in all likelihood, a large number of the victims of the virus would have died of other causes within a short timespan anyway.
the likely economic malaise, job losses and concomitant homelessness, exposure, and malnutrition that it will lead to amongst a section of the population that would likely have shrugged off a coronavirus infection with little to no side-effects will have a much more substantial impact on health and life-expectancy in the long term than the virus ever will.
