I'm working FT myself however its not at normal pace and I'm WFH as well.
I'll offer up 3-4 hours a day to call and try and support the needy.
In all honesty all I'll be doing is sacrificing some drinking time
----------------------------------------------------------------------
As we were talking in the politics thread, I have offered time n the evening or weekend to deliver shopping to those who cannot leave their homes

nice touch Irish, I suggested that I would do the same thing to my partner however she and one of my kids have asthma so I went for the calling option.
well played Irish
Would sign up, but I am one of the most vulnerable due to transplant so will be stuck in reliant on people who do offer help.
Big thanks to anyone who does give help during this crisis

Thinking the same. Possibly the dropping off of meds and food to vulnerable people
I’m tempted to sign up but I’m still working full time from home. More importantly my mother is in her 70s and has underlying health issues so I need to look after her.
Kudos to all who are helping

Medals like bin lids for those that give up time to help. This is a wartime level effort from all involved.
Will sign up for this. Got finished today for 4 weeks minimum, so will probably save me googling divorce lawyers for a while at least.
Noticed one thing during the sign up process, which is to do with informing the car insurance company about using the car for NHS Volunteering. Yet to do this but wondering if its even worth mentioning it to them as they might hike up the premiums. Anyone has any ideas on this?
Would love to help out on this , my missus is pregnant so have to put her first . Stay safe who ever you are or support.
I volunteer to keep this last in lockdown
