Space travel is not an important matter atm. All the money on adventures such as that should be invested into healthcare and fighting corona. We don’t need to go to mars right now

If it were that simple Irish then the Govt would do it. But to fight the virus means you have to keep people out of work and by doing that it means these big corporations will go under.

This is why Boris for example kept people working a few weeks longer than he should.

I don’t mind Gov’s bailing out these people but they have to make sure that money goes to the employees and not back into the companies.

Ordinary people are supposed to have some sort of contingency kitty just in case, yet within the first week Branson was going cap in hand. Fecking joker that one. Billionaire caricature.

How typical though? Everytime these super rich do this. Cap in hand and begging.

Yet when they are raking it in, they do everything to avoid paying the right tax and sometimes no tax at all.

We pay taxes to make sure the infrastructure of the country is at decent levels and to help pay for NHS and the poor.
