Hard Brexit getting closer

Be great to see who germany is going to export it’s goods to if the U.K. has a hard Brexit and Italy and the rest are struggling.

Already a massive downturn in production out of Germany this last 6-9 months on cars.

Almost forgot about that gross stupidity. Surely it has to be extended, or hopefully revoked..

I miss the days where Brexit was our biggest concern.

So no comment re the EU finance chiefs refusing to help France, Spain, Italy etc during this pandemic. As President Macron said this week, this could be the end of the EU!🙄

Politics and Britexit , plus all the other bollix can take a back seat for the time being . We've got a mini apocalypse taking place.

None of this shat will matter in a few weeks when there will be about another 19.000 deaths .

Ah yeah mini apocalypse

This won’t even register in the top 20 causes of death this year globally

It will certainly be the cause of the number 1 spike in deaths this year globally. Which is probably why it's being treated so seriously

define number 1 spike in deaths

20 000 deaths in the UK if we get away with it.

Then if it does subside during the summer months it will all come back next Autumn, just as dramatically.

Vaccine wont be ready until the New Year. And then the logistics of mass production... enough of it to give the entire World population immunity.

Brexit and it's politics is dead.

We need to co-operate with our friends in Europe. They are all we have. European unity has never been more necessary than it it today.

If there is a fairly constant rate of deaths. Then there is a sudden upsurge in deaths. The thing that caused that upsurge will be a huge cause for concern. It may not be the biggest proportionate cause of deaths in that year but it's the biggest factor in the change of number of deaths per year. And that's massive.

makes you wonder if this new corona had never made it to the west if anyone would actually give a sh111t about it

Firstly are you Barry on the WUM?

If not. What is your point?

Let us all know.

I'm sure when the rest of Europe is pulling together to rebuild after the virus, buying our marmalade will be top of their priorities.

im not making little of this at all just keeping it in the context of deaths around the world.

obviously we are a long way off the peak of this but at 30k deaths we need another 580k deaths for it to make the top 20 list

not saying it won't creep onto the list but comments about this being a 'mini-apocalypse' just show the unintelligence of some people believing the media hype

9M from starvation, or around 25,000 every day. Found that out yesterday which actually shocked me.

Don't downplay this though. It's completely disrespectful to all those on the NHS frontline and will do nothing but p-ss people off.
