Difficult to compare as professional football contracts will be incredibly forensic. I think the pay cut is on basic pay as well, but I don’t know for sure as there’s not enough details. I think it’s better if they make donations for sure. But I think it’s hard to look at it across the board as there’s a massive difference in wages and club capabilities to pay them. Needs to be looked at on a case by case basis rather than a blanket reduction.

I don't know enough.
Back on the subject of the OP I think Kane would be a great player for United but I am worried about his injuries though.

I think point 1 wouldn’t be a problem if he was at a club who didn’t rely on him to play every 90 mins of every game in virtually every competition for seasons running
A normal club might not bring him back from injury too soon, or allow him to say he’s fit when he isn’t
They may also in their infinite wisdom have a couple of other players in the same position just in case an outlandish thing like injuries happen or he needs a rest to be at his best.
Would have to be silly money to get him off Levy tho
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Completely agree with that. Spurs have never really had a good enough back-up CF to give him a bit of rotation, not without changing the style to use Son or Moura there anyway.
Give him a bit of rest and time to recover properly from injuries and it wouldn't surprise me to see him back at the scoring rates of previous years which were incredibly impressive.
That said, I really can't see Kane moving to another EPL club. If you're going to leave your boyhood club then you'd want instant success, particularly at his age. Utd probably don't offer that right now. City would but for all their big spending their record signing is less than both Utd and Liverpool. If he goes then RM or PSG would be my bets.
I think his injuries are a concern. But it doesn’t help that Spurs have run him into the ground for six years.

Purely Jose’s fault
It’ll probably happen with Mourinho as well. Though Mourinho’s players don’t actually run as much as Pochettino’s so it may not be as bad for him.
Would pass on Harry Kane, as silly as it may sound to many.
We have Rashford, Martial, Greenwood, Ighalo [I'm sure he'll stay], Sanchez [He'll come back].
We need to sort out other priority areas before considering a luxury signing.

I know football is all about opinion and every fan is biased towards their own players, but surely Kane is different gravy to those listed?
I get that you have other priorities though. As a Liverpool fan I've seen the difference less glamorous positions can have on the team (GK, LB, CB).
Right wing is a glamorous position and is our main priority.
Nope, no interest whatsoever from me
Kane is a great striker but his injuries are a concern. We have seen how these things affects players. One just has to see the move of Torres to Chelsea and I see this in a similar vein. Add on top of that the fees (transfer and wages) and dealing with Levy, it's best to avoid.
As long as they have Kane, they will never get in a player that could be capable of replacing him, even as a back up. On top of that, the lack of transfer fees they will receive will hinder their rebuild.
Martial may not be the better striker but he will be better for is than Kane is in the long run. We have seen a up turn of performances and now with Bruno and Ighalo in, with Rashford and Pogba yet to return, it's not a position that needs looking at (as long as Ighalo's loan is extended). RW with Sancho is both a more viable transfer and solves an issue for us.
We aren't a great side for players who have injuries to move to. We had over the past few seasons the most number of players getting inured or out at one time.

We have a good mix there and none of them are the same type but seem to be capable of playing together. Kane will demand to be first choice of we were to come and we'd have to fit the others around him. Sanchez is an issue we need sorting out before we think of getting Kane in.
Kane’s more Shearer than Torres.
I think it would be a poor deal for both teams.
Why would spurs want to strengthen their main top 4 rival. It's probably a good time to move him on as his value is only going to decline and spurs could use the money to build a better squad.
United is starting to look like the main contender to pool and city and spending the money to buy what they actually need would be much wiser.
In the event that the news of Kane being on the market becomes known to the public, the odds of him becoming a Utd player would be quite low. He's in a RVP situation (in danger of not winning any silverware in his career) and would preferably only make a move if he would be able to join City, Liverpool or maybe a Real or Bayern if Spurs only wants to move him abroad.
To be honest, the upcoming 2 transferwindows would be the worst time to sell any players if you cannot buy back an equally talented player or prospect. So I dont think Kane will go anywhere soon knowing Levy...
He's a better fit for chelsea

For me, it's priority and as you've stated look what a difference makes to sort out the less glamorous positions.
Our strikers have scored a great amount, especially in comparison to Liverpool's front three. However, Liverpool have players that contribute across the park.
Can't see Levy even entertaining the idea of this - He doesn't need too.
Harry has signed a contract until 2024, silly decision to commit 6 years to a club that have not won anything for a very long time.
Unless Real Madrid / PSG come calling, Harry will have to accept he's a Tottenham player until he's almost 30.
Can`t see Kane wanting to take a sideways step by joining United, there is more chance of VAR being completely unbiased towards Pool and United.

Kane completely facked himself with that contract. Admittedly, when he signed it things were looking good at spurs.
But now he's in a bit of a Zaha situation. Too good for his current club, but too valuable to be sold at a price another club would pay.
Can’t ever see Kane going to PSG, not unless it’s for a final pay day in his 30’s. Italy seems most likely if he goes abroad given the longevity afforded to players over 30 in that league.
