Disagree about Homeland. Think s3 went off the rails a bit maybe, but some of the subsequent seasons have been great.
I'd have to say Nashville. A good premise, and started off pretty well. By s2 it had started to turn a bit soapy though, and... well, I can't even remember watching into s3 tbh.
If people don’t say Heroes they are cray
'Flashforward' Dynamo opening, first few episodes, in line to be an all-time great show and just fell off a cliff.
Yeah, Heroes definitely qualifies here.
Walking Dead
Wouldn’t say opening season only, but first few seasons were pretty good and then got progressively worse.
Utter shiiiit by around season 6. Is it still going ?
In the same vein as Nashville, I'd mention 'Empire' too. Not great shows but they were good to very good shows in part for what they were.
House of Cards ( Netflix), fantastic first season and an opening scene for the ages and as it went on -especially post-pederast, Kevin Spacey- it turned to a pile of turd.
They all got demonstrably bad as it went on.

Wasnt 2nd season when the were looking for Carol's daughter? That was crap. Then next season was decent?
Agree about Homeland. Even season 2 was whack.
Breaking Bad series 2&3 were poor and I find it's generally the most overrated show on earth.

I find this with all series that have a recurring villain. I gave up with Hero’s after the 4th episode of Season 2.
I enjoyed the first season of Lost. Lost interest as season 2 went on. Don’t think I even got to the end of season 2.

Season 10
Walking dead is such a strange show.
Season one was great.
Season two was boring AF
Seasons 3-5 were good
The whole Negan thing from seasons 6-8 were badly done and the show nearly died
Angela Kang came in @season 9 and it’s very good now but they’ve lost so many fans it’s only the diehard ones like me that keep it alive
Fear the walking dead was actually quite good and season 3 was actually my fave of any of the walking dead shows but for some inexplicable reason they hired the failing walking dead showrunners and it’s so bad I can’t even watch and I’m usually someone who sees something through till the end
Game of thrones is funny too
Up until the last series (not saying all the previous series were bulletproof) I could rewatch episodes en masse
And even at the beginning of the last series I was excited. Getting up at 5am to watch the battle of winter fell was possibly the most excited I’ve ever been for a tv show. But once Arya did what she did and that was it a part of me died inside and I can’t even think about Game Of Thrones without wincing and it’s dead to me now

Fair enough, I do think the last season (7) was OK. I am just deeply annoyed by the Carrie Mathison character. I cant stand her, nor the actress, thats how good of a job she did

Ah yes, House of Cards.
Designated Survivor as well, decent first season and then totally turned to crap.
The writers strike killed Heroes - though there was one episode in season 3 where Peter Pettreli went forward in time and Sylar was a good guy. Brilliant episode in a sea of shiiiit
Prison Break is another contender
A series that fell away but then redeemed itself.
Peaky Blinders had 3 excellent seasons then we had the very silly 4th but got back on track with series 5.

I didn’t enjoy the first series of GOT but stuck with it but t liked the rest.
The last one was rushed beyond belief though.
I’ve just finished the first season of Ozark which I thought was really good.
Hopefully it doesn’t go downhill after that.
No spoilers please !
