----------------------------------------------------------------------
When it is safe for all involved to do so, not rocket science
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Good luck telling the clubs they have continue paying the players when they are getting no income. Even sponsors will start to scale down if there product is not on the TV.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
They can furlough staff the same as any other business. Well within their rights I'd imagine, they'd possibly lose as asset though depending on the terms of contract,
PL clubs aren't in any danger anyway. They may be crippled in the transfer window for a couple of seasons but less so than other major leagues.

Maybe you should start arguming that football should start up as you can buy a pie at the ground. Its a pretty obvious extension from KFC right?
I think some people honestly expect us to be locked down until there is a vaccine you know.
Okay - no relegation from the prem and no promotion. I agree and my club is very much affected by that decision, but i'll accept it's part of the moving on.
But the parachute payments that would have gone to the relegated clubs, should go to the top 3 in the championship as compensation. 4th and below should've played better throughout the season.

I think people actually just expect sports to be one of the last things to start back up, not one of the first and that there are a lot of unknowns at the moment.
I think that is quite difficult for Liverpool fans to fathom as they have to argue in extremes.
Are the folk here arguing for football to get back ASAP working atm?
Or sitting chugging away to Holly Willobooby every day?

Yes it is an obvious extention. Youre saying ASDA and Wilkos are essential. That's why they're open.
If you think theyre goung to stop football for however long and should do too then fine but I think it's silly and VERY unlikely.

I think some people honestly expect us to be locked down until there is a vaccine you know.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think people actually just expect sports to be one of the last things to start back up, not one of the first and that there are a lot of unknowns at the moment.
I think that is quite difficult for Liverpool fans to fathom as they have to argue in extremes.

Are the folk here arguing for football to get back ASAP working atm?
Or sitting chugging away to Holly Willobooby every day?

Okay - no relegation from the prem and no promotion. I agree and my club is very much affected by that decision, but i'll accept it's part of the moving on.
But the parachute payments that would have gone to the relegated clubs, should go to the top 3 in the championship as compensation. 4th and below should've played better throughout the season.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not a bad idea imo.

It's not one of the first, what are you talking about?
Loads havent even stopped. It's got absolutely nothing to do with me supporting Liverpool either, more your neurosis by the looks of things.

You can work in ASDA but yiu cant play football.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Food distribution is essential. Sport isn't.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You can work in Wilkos but you can't play football.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Wilkos supply cleaning materials and household essentials. Football doesn't.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Football is supposed to help the people with mental health problems
----------------------------------------------------------------------
From the evidence of this site I'd say football had probably caused more mental health problems than it's helped...

Yep good idea, I guess it would need to be evenly distributed by a number of PL clubs though.
