You will bottle it, classic Leeds.
No way will Leeds bottle promotion this season. They hit a bit of bad form last season and couldn't come back from it, that happened this season but then you got back winning again. Last seasons experience is all the players need to get through to the end.
If it resumes you will go up, I'm sure of it.
Think the hatred towards the clubs at the foot of the PL needs to stop though. They're doing what any club would do in that position and you're fooling yourself if you think your own club or any club would act any different in the same circumstances. I've seen it stated a few times also that it's not just relegation threatened teams and players who have concerns over restarting. The media are doing everything they can to drive traffic to their sites for obvious reasons and I'm afraid Liverpool and Leeds fans are eating out of their hands right now!
Why have Leeds become obsessed with Villa all of a sudden? It's like you can't get over last season. As if Villa were responsible for last seasons inevitable implosion! We played the loan market to perfection. Won when it mattered. Went up after 3 seasons. Done and dusted. We left Leeds in our rear view mirror a long time ago and if we were relegated this season ( definitely deserved on performances alone ) I'm sure we'd be wh 00p1ng your
c @n dy as 5es in The Championship next season aswell. You know, because you'll bottle it againπ€ͺ
Hooefully Leeds win promotion at Pride Park and Norwich and Brighton come down, then we could sign White.
I do hope we can kick off again.
I think we’ll do it too

Good point well made.
I get that players have fears for there health. I really do.
But health risks are there for EVERYONE.
I aint asking for a medal or anything but im a home delivery driver for Asda. I work 5 days a week and since this nightmare virus started i aint missed one single days work.
Ive looked after myself hygiene wise. Constantly sanitising my hands after every delivery.
Changing my gloves after every delivery.
As soon as i get home my son and wife wants to give me a massive hug but i tell them to let me get all my uniform off and have a shower first as im so paranoid about this virus.
Im constantly worrying everyday about bringing it home to them both.
I get paid 9.18 an hour for this role. But do you know what i love doing this for people.
Since this pandemic just about every customer tell me how much they appreciate me bringing there food etc.
Ive had kidds giving me pictures they have drawn for me and other drivers. We take them back to the depot and must be nearly a hundred pictures stuck all over warehouse.
We are strictly not to take shopping in to customers houses since this virus but some customers are in there 90's and so frail. No way can i dump it on there door step and let them struggle.
I tell them to keep dstance from me and i wear a face mask as the risk to them is alot.
What im trying to say is if i and many others have to go to work for peanuts with this risk hanging over them eveyday then im sick of multimillionaire footballers gladly taking there ridiculous wages every week without taking risks just like everybody else.
By all means make it safe as possible but stop mosning about scared as we all are scared but we het on with it.

Hopefully it can be accomplished on the pitch.

Good on you mate, got a very close mate who works the same role for Sainsbury's. You've all done a belting j oib throughout this
The only thing I could maybe throw in as an opposing viewpoint to that, not that it's my own, is that regards player wages, they're obviously going to get them as they are technically still working for their club, albeit up until recently training 'individually'. I will always stick up for players regards their wages anyway though, as the money floating around football from broadcasters, investors and sponsors should definitely be going to them primarily as that's who we're paying to see, and I'd much rather it went in their pockets than shareholders who often don't even have any real kind of love for the game. Would be nice for the fans to get a more subsidised product as a result but I suppose whilst supply and demand is still being met, there's no reason for clubs to change it.

Had a look back at the post.
I aint no better than Kamara.
I reckon he might have had a few bad experiences with shoppers in the store.
Im lucky i dont do anything in store. Ive heard from colleagues that have to deal with customers on shop floor who say that some customers dont respect there personal space and push past to grab things from shelves and stuff.
I reckon my job out and about in my van is safer than some of the in store workers.

A footballers job is about as non-essential as it gets.
If they are instructed they’re back at work, then where does this leave everyone else in lower risk roles?
A match day team will have around 50 people involved, all in close proximity. Clubs have players already testing positive for the virus.
Ambulances will have to be on standby incase someone gets injured, taking them away from other roles.
And then there’s the footballers themselves. It’s a deadly virus; is there anything to prove it doesn’t cause long term respiratory problems?
A player could be ruining their career by playing and contracting the virus, which would be a legal nightmare.
If a player dies, is it corporate manslaughter?
Think it’s a joke it’s even being considered.

People who can't work from home have been allowed to go back to work.
You make some good points but why isn't there a concern for long-term respiratory problems for the common man?
Its not just footballers that are at risk of this, everyone is at risk and yet people are going back to work and by the time football resumes, even more restrictions will have been lifted and players won't be testing positive by then I suspect.
Why don't the same legal issues apply with other workers? Covid could ruin anyone's career if we're being honest.
Furthermore, players will be one of the safest groups of workers in the country. Enjoying so many privileges that other workers will not.
And finally, it is in the interest of football that this happens as the industry supports thousands of jobs and businesses.

i atm, work for tesco, i have no choice but to go to work, if i did not i would be sacked. i come in contact with hundreds
& hundreds of idiots everyday, players are paid to play, if they are told to play they play..............simple, they are no better than you or me.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Why are shoppers to your Tesco's who incidentally are keeping you in employment idiots?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
come on in spend a day with them.........yet another fookin eeejut who does not understand what is going on, i don't want to be at work, with all the filthy germ ridden being so ignorant, i'd rather be furloughed getting money for nothing like you, you dim wit.

Scunner, honesty you are an example to us all.. the above was posted yesterday, which I found disgraceful, thank you so much for re-installing our faith!
