ah actually, whilst VOFy is here... and talking of where you draw the line ref banter..

VOF once called me a fairy for not having a beer after Leeds won a game due to my training.. now that abnter between mates (cyber mates) .. where do you stand on that Lubo? - for me, of course, I took at as a good joke from a freind. would you have taken it that way?

see very different ways of taking the above isn't there? - depending on what way you've learnt to survive right?

Spit, I disagree with you, if Radebe had have played for ManU would he have been worst?..

A bully is someone that flattens, brings down anything stood in front of them and uses it to cause fear!..

Respect is something people earn, and in doing so they'll get more out of people than the bully!..

X- Military, ask me who I'd prefer to go to war with, a person I respect, or a person who'll rip into anything without thinking it right or wrong!..

Radebe is a player respected for giving respect!..

Keane a player respected by fear!..

TV and PC means to cause fear, and bullies use them to the best affect!..

Success surely on the playing field has more to do with the people/team around you and not the bully within?..

Like Lubo has said, Liverpool top of the League, you could also say Leeds and West Brom top of their league!..

Have any of the 3 a true bully in their teams?..

Spanish..... it's about knowing the person you're talking to, albeit we've not met, but I've a good idea where I can push comments like that with you. Would I use that reference for everyone, no way.

It's funny though how some may have issue with that phrase, but say nothing when other posters (though not for a while) call each other ku£$ts because they disagree on something.

For me "banter" and/or comments between people are all about the delivery and tone in the voice. Really difficult to do it over typing, you don't always get that signal, hence online chats can get misconstrued far too easily. I've been called a see you next Tuesday by mates plenty of times, I am one from time to time, but I can tell by the delivery it's invariably in jest.

English language eh … !!!

brilliant points Germany.

but I do disagree that Redebe would of been as good for Manu over Keane. I just think that was the dynamic of the team, and it worked!

dynamics are an invisible but very powerful force within humans, very complex too, so direct comparisons don't always work.

VOF - totally agree there mate, 110 %.

yeah the C word has all of a sudden become a term of endearment wierdly, despite it being the most horrible word in the Enhglaish language

Germany, correct there.. but again, its dynamics isn;t it, becasue Klopp is a people's man, what he does works.. he's the Alpha isn't he? - but done in a very different way - which means he won't go sign a Roy Keane anytime soon, it will destroy his dynamic.... same with rabebe and Keano - that was Fergies dynamic.

Bielsa, total opposite to Klopp - how the hell he does what he does is beyond me - he hardly speaks to his players, you wonder if he's got a man in the coaching staff that plays his beta.

Billic? - I havn't a clue, but that man doesn't employ bully boy tactics, I'd be surprised.

totally agree VOF.. you worked out where you could take a comment with me, and you were correct, this is what happens with lads, and that was laddish behaviour... I think people or confusing laddish behaviour with going around insulting people.

My dear Lubo...Your Highness...Your Niceness

I was cut to the quick when you didn't invite me to your Coronation to be crowned 'King of the World'...I thought we were friends, you sure know how to hurt my feelings! I thought you might have given me an audience up there in your Ivory Tower? I wanted to thank you for the certificate you sent me, guaranteeing Earthly happiness, free of bullying and promising to eradicate 'ladishness' which I know you think is a great danger to our society.

You said on the certificate I could contact you if I wasn't happy...well I'm not happy, I'm very depressed, my feelings have been hurt by that bounder Mattyp...he called me 'a faceless troll' (I've never been to Norway) and 'bully on the internet'...he's just a nasty bully!
I know you're busy with responsibilities for approx 7 to 8 billion people worldwide, checking on their moral rectitude etc etc, but could you have a word?!

I thought about putting my head in the gas oven I was so depressed but then realised we were on electric.
I couldn't find a rope so I tried string then cellotape, but no success, both broke when I jumped off the chair.
I am trying to manage my mental health after the above jibes and insults, getting help from various sources. A well known jeweller sent me an email two days ago (I bought a gold ring for my nose a few months ago) telling me they had 10 ways to manage my mental health...I emailed them back declining their advise. I told them I try to manage my mental health 365 days a year and don't need to be told by celebrities on tv what to do.

I know you're very busy Your Moral Rectitude with your responsibilities, I can't imagine the burden you carry, it must be awesome...what with a fat girl cutting herself, the guy being bullied in France because of his big nose, the woman in Italy bullied by other women cos she's got a fat belly...the bloke bullied in Brazil by his wife cos he's got a small dick!

Did you see the interview on tv with the footballer on 5million a month, how he was bullied as a child because of his Pink rimmed glasses? Well he cried and I shed tears as well, truly heart rending experience, I identified with him because I was bullied too, those pink rimmed specs depressed me so much, well I changed them for brown rimmed specs and my life changed...I got a girlfriend and she wore brown rimmed specs! It was great but we did have difficulty kissing.

I've decided not to go on the trip with you and Mattyp because I know you will both come down hard on 'ladishness' behaviour...so you can stick your trip to North Korea up your harse!

If it helps, NJS, I read the first few lines and decided the rest wasn't worth it. I'm going to assume it continued in the same overly dramatic tone.

comment by Lubo - Super Cooper! (U14008)

Honestly, justifying what is bullying by describing it as just the lads is sick, in my opinion. If that is ingrained in society then society clearly has an issue, which is good, as it is definitely a culture that is being moved away from.

Bullying is far too institutionalised within our culture, and that is the inherent problem. Just because it has happened for years doesn't mean it should carry on. This is true of plenty of things that serve as a blight on society and humanity.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

One of the main patterns to abuse is that people who were abused are far more likely to abuse, so if you take the four main types (physical, sexual, emotional and neglect) people who have suffered from these things are more likely to do them, in the most simple of terms its a type coping mechanism.

So people are going to justify it in order to square it in their own heads.
