I clearly sought to clarify what I meant, not because I was accused of lying but actually because I thought it was the decent thing to do.

Nope you made your contradictory claim in comment 213. I responded pointing out this contradiction in comment 222. You then started your 'clarification' or 'backtrack' (your choice) on comment 227.

So not only did your clarification not come immediately (there were 14 comments between the statement and the supposed clarification and at least 3 of them are yours so you didn't clarify immediately) but it also did not come before my challenge to your statement which was comment 222.

So either you have another error to admit, or you are simply lying again.
