Jim, can you answer whether it would be ok if Klopp played the youngsters after winning the league if C19 hadn't happened? Is it only an issue now?

Prem league rules state that if you play too many players outside your 25 without good reason then you can be punished...it’s pretty open though

But I bet suddenly the whole first team will be magically unavailable wrapped in Cotton wool and better prepared than everyone else for September

If this hadn’t happened of course he’d play some kids reserves etc but now it’s gonna be abused, been a few sources leaked that senior club figures at other clubs worry he’s gonna do this and it wraps the league because suddenly games you should’ve won you’ll lose because of this

Thought it was better to make a joke than say the actual truth about the last time you were on a playground you were escorted off in handcuffs

1014 tests carried out across staff in all Championship clubs. Two positive tests. That's promising

People want football back for the sake of some normality again. It doesn't really matter to Liverpool fans because if the season finishes now, Liverpool will be awarded the title anyway. Its all these clowns that just say "null and void" the season and wipe it from the record books.

So that's now 6 players/staff from 20 clubs to have the disease. Crisis. There comes a point where people will have to start learning to live with this virus because you can't just sit and wait around forever and a day for a vaccine or for it to just suddenly disappear because it won't do that.

Ok yet another pool fan who’d sell his nan to get the title

Let’s see how many pool players play more than 2 games till they’re over the line

I can’t wait for all the niggles and injuries that rule out key men till next season and klopp just sends our kids after banging on and on about how we need to finish the season because it’s imperative.

There are basically only 9 clubs with anything left to play for now and were forcing the others to kick a ball around with semi fitness and total lack of desire to just get it done.

Should of been ended and started again next season but god forbid you don’t get your first PL*

The people demanding it be null and void are seriously clutching at straws. "the season is only 75% done so it shouldn't count." What?! So logically, these people think that it makes more sense to ignore 3 quarters of the season on the basis of some earth shattering change in the final quarter of the season.

It gets worse as you go down the football league if anything. You have the Wycombe manager claiming that them having been in the top 2 for 20 weeks this season somehow is in any way relevant to the fact they're 8th now. And League Two don't want to relegate anyone but strangely think that they should still be able to promote 4 teams.

So much self interest

I think null and void are the minority

Haven’t heard many say they don’t think Liverpool would’ve probably won it prior to all this mess

But look at Chelsea, their best MF is basically refusing to come back because he is an at risk ethnic group and if they struggle to keep 4th from United I’m sure they will be thrilled

Its just the bitter fans that dislike Liverpool or any fans of the bottom 5/6 clubs that want that happening. As you say, clutching at straws and realistically will never happen.

No matter how you finish the season, not having promotion/relegation is nonsense. I don't agree with those who say Stevenage shouldn't be relegated as well, why? That's what they've deserved. Why should they have a get out of jail free card at the expense of a National League club? Clubs can't just make it out for themselves just because they believe there is an opportunity to, it should finish like any other season regardless of how it finishes.

I am ok with it if they cancel the season. I am fed up with rival fans thinking Liverpool fans prioritising football before the health of the players.

Whatever happens will be and I am ok with it.

Is that not the same for every club though? Why should it not just be treated as injury? If you catch it, have symptoms or must self isolate etc, why is that any different to what a 2 week hamstring injury would be?

What happens if Chelsea have an injury crisis under normal circumstances? What do they say then? "Oh but we didn't have our full strength squad so can we just do it again"? No.

If you treat this illness like an injury, then where is the problem? If the illness gets through too much of the squad, that's when clubs, the PL and the FA have to compromise. It doesn't matter when it gets finished, just providing it does.

You can’t say forcing players to play when they are uncomfortable and treating them like robots is the same as getting injured playing

When did I want people to get injured? Quite clear I was saying klopp will do a fergie before an international break once you crossed the line and your best players will suddenly be not available until next season

What Robbing said was he didn’t care less that your owners neglect had led to horrific incidents at Fenway, as a Liverpool fan I thought you all cared deeply about stadium safety. Guess it only matters when your fans are involved and doesn’t matter if your owners are complicit in such horrors.
