I'm not a Pool fan but...
Wow, just wow.
For the Spurs fans who clearly just hate Liverpool (Sandy being the number one on here) to make an article just to attempt to belittle and draw attention away from Liverpools Premier League win is frankly pathetic.
Nobody outside of a percentage Spurs fans reading this believe this article was created purely because of an irrational hatred of Liverpool, Covid is just a prop for jealousy.

Exactly.

There were no articles like this about the BLM protests, street parties, beaches etc, but now there's one when it's Liverpool fans and you've added a line in about how we should be deducted points next season.
Can't really be surprised then if Liverpool fans respond to it defensively.

Sandy, the pubs are opening next week, flights are back on, most people are back in work, shops are open. Social distancing is over.

We'll see. However I wouldn't blame a few hundred Liverpool fans, or thousands of people going to the beach, I'd blame the government for a late lockdown, a lockdown lite, an early lifting of the lockdown and mixed messages.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The government has been terrible no doubt about it but we also need to take personal responsibility.
Alas the uneducated X-factor McDonalds eating thick trog element of our population isn't capable of such musings.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
There are more people out shopping. Lockdown is over. You can't blame the people for knowing this, with the message the government have given them.
Pubs open next week, airports open with flights back on, shops open, most people back to work. If all this is the case, then there will be crowds. In fact mass gatherings were the last thing to be stopped, you had football games, horse racing events and all sorts still going ahead when lockdown lite was introduced.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Still can't play cricket thoughthe most socially distanced sport
----------------------------------------------------------------------
From next Saturday, you can play cricket.
It all started going wrong when Cummings needed to "test his eyesight" imo. This set a precedent - and instilled an if he can do it, so can I mentality.
Then came the BLM protest gatherings.
Then came the raves.
Then came the beaches.
But yep, Liverpool* bad if you like.
At least most of the fans last night were from (presumably) a local area, whereas the other examples came from far and wide, and If they were infected will have carried those germs back home with them helping to spread coved all over the country.

There have been lots of condemnation of all gatherings and that includes BLM, EDL etc. Yesterday though was a complete disgrace to our country, firstly with all those morons on the beaches, then last night with the also moronic Liverpool supporters, who thought it great to gather in large numbers, letting of flares, which in itself is illegal. You should be ashamed of yourselves.
The authorities need to really clamp down on this behaviour, there is a pandemic still on, in case you have not noticed. Hence I added that a severe punishment is needed, like a points deduction. Fines are totally useless. Although they should be tracking down all those that gathered, and start handing out very hefty fines to those idiots.

Why are people thinking this is a football thing
If there were articles slating the protesters I’d have commented on that with complete agreement
In summary
Protesting bad
Beaches bad
Pubs opening bad
Liverpool celebrating like that bad
It all adds up to a longer lock down , a complete breakdown of our economy and many more jobs lost
Although lockdown has eased , correct me if I’m wrong but I thought there was still distancing in place ...surely people can use common sense but this is us , the English, we know better !
I have my partner, brother and sister in law working for the NHS
They must ask themselves why bother (but they don’t!) and good on them and all the others risking their lives day in day out

Government are totally useless, but that doesn`t give an excuse for supporters to gather outside grounds. That is the whole point of games being played behind closed doors. It would take an absolute idiot not to realise that.
