Bin Dippers bragging among themselves about a faux league title, that carries about as much merit as a Ben Johnson gold medal, sad and desperate times indeed.

Nobody else really cares, and will remember it for all the wrong reasons and for what it is, the improper title won after changing the rules part way through.

This article is a perfect example of what a bunch of t0ssers the Liverpool fans on this forum are.

Could one of them not just be man enough to admit that it broke the social distancing rules and therefore has to be wrong.

I know plenty of Liverpool fans socially who are happy to admit it shouldn't have happened and accept the hypocrisy of how its being reported compared to the beaches. Unfortunately the ones on here have a sense of entitlement and think they are above the law.

I have friends who are Liverpool fans and they are nothing like on here. Ja seems to have attracted the worst of them.

I condemn all mass gatherings. My sister, who is in the vulnerable group, has had Covid. It is still out there and the actions of the selfish put more at risk .

The mistake being that some people believe attitudes might differ because of the football team supported...

I actually agree with much of this post. Whether we like it or not and whether the government's messaging is consistent and clear (or not); we are still in lockdown. Eased lockdown but we're still expected to follow certain precautionary measures.

People are making selfish decisions because they feel emboldened by the relaxation of measures and the downgrading of Covid-19 alert level to 3. I'm not just talking about the (many) incidents that have already been raised here but every day incidents. I'm assuming many on this thread (given it's a Spurs heavy thread) live in London so you must see it every day - parks, shops, takeaway pubs; social distancing is very limited (if existing at all).

So I agree with the arguments and agree that public health is being risked with this behaviour. Do I believe public health is the reason Sandy wrote this article? Not for a second.

You don't care but you've commented the same thing multiple times on different thread.

Don't care though

The big difference is that if the Spurs fans gathered outside WHL after beating Arsenal in a few weeks time the majority on here would quite rightly object to it and make their feelings clear.

Whereas the Liverpool gang on here think the club and supporters can do no wrong.

That's not true. Read through the comments, lots of people questioning the motive for the article but nobody says what those fans did was right.

If you want me to be unequivocal; the fans that attended are selfish pr!cks who placed their own moment of celebration over the health of the nation and their civic duty.

Good post, but you let yourself down a bit with your last sentence.

It is 100 per cent about health with me, as whilst I am not in the absolute most vulnerable, because of my age and I am diabetic, I am still in a vulnerable group.

You say "no one really cares" but you and Sandy clearly do, your both on here everyday talking about Liverpool.

I hate Liverpool but credit where its due. They deserved the league and most fans know this, despite your best efforts to play it down!

Its silly to not just wait for the right time to celebrate or to not do so sensibly. But lets be honest, theres numerous incidents that have been happening for months now that are a lot worse. Also numerous raves and street parties going on that are still worse this week alone. so its a bit of a non story, its not new its not even the tip of the iceberg which has been a problem for months.

Anyone wanting them to take action now just because its Liverpool fans crack me up. Or wanting Liverpool fans to be disgusted and in shock even worse. Yes i dont agree with the ones who did it but fack me as i said its not even a rain drop in the ocean compared.

The Police and Mayor of Liverpool disagree.

Governments plan all along was herd immunity n to slow it down for nhs to cope n theyve done that. Its the logical thing too as cruel as it seems survival of the fittest but nature is cruel we know this and we cant afford if we want to maintain our way of life to not do it.

Ofc the budget cuts to everything by the tories over the years have been highlighted and like brexit, has shown the government n politics up in this country to be the shambles they are. But even having a more competent government a more equipped nhs n police force it still would have sucked and we’ll still be paying for it, just with less deaths i imagine.

And yeah it sucks :/ best of luck stay safe do what u can sandy, but dont expect else from the government in the country or the selfish snowflake generation we’ve become.

Why would he?

I’ve never congratulated another team for winning anything, except maybe Leicester.
