Even with a points deduction we'd still finish ahead of Spurs
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think the point Sandy is making , is that we're all meant to keep two meters apart and that was clearly broken last night , SS showed this on live TV and the police did nothing, so it's sort of a slap in the face to people whom do follow rules.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
nah, if that was his stance then I'd expect him to have said the same for BLM March's
You can't pick and choose when its safe to social distance.
Not saying the BLM marchs were wrong or anything but the double standards are funny.
If covid really was that dangerous and we keep being told its relatively safe outside what's the issue with a few celebrating outside.
Were there any spikes after BLM marchs, were the NHS crippled???
NO is the answer

This article is a perfect example of what a bunch of t0ssers the Liverpool fans on this forum are.
Could one of them not just be man enough to admit that it broke the social distancing rules and therefore has to be wrong.
I know plenty of Liverpool fans socially who are happy to admit it shouldn't have happened and accept the hypocrisy of how its being reported compared to the beaches. Unfortunately the ones on here have a sense of entitlement and think they are above the law.
___
What a load of horse excrement, the Liverpool fans are not defending the behaviour of those last night. They are questioning the reason behind this article, which is clearly just to try to deflect from Liverpools achievement in winning the league after 30 years.

no one is condoning it but given what's happened over the past few weeks last night was mild.
VE day, the protests, and beach situations were far worse than this
Self praise is no praise, if you don`t have the respect and recognition of your peers and opponents, you have nothing.
Lets change the rules part way through and celebrate as if we won a proper title
Action has been taken already , The police have condemned the Liverpool fans outside the stadium and Hancock is threatening to close beaches if social distancing is not followed . Stern stuff right there.

There were no articles like this about the BLM protests, street parties, beaches etc,
----------------------------------------------------------------------
There’s literally been dozens.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The point is that certain posters seem to cherry pick which event is bad for breaking lockdown. I don't recall Sandy or yourself making an article like this being angry when it was BLM.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
They to a certain extent had a bit of legitimacy, they were protesting over injustice over 100 of years. Liverpool supporters were gathering over a silly game of football. They were not getting transported from their homes and used as slaves.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
But you're going mental over a thousand or so Liverpool fans gathering for one night, yet were silent over thousands and thousands up and down the country gathering for multiple days in a row.
They obviously had a far better reason but which event is going to cause more strain on the NHS and which event is more likely to cause a second spike?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
This isn’t a competition mate...
All bad !
I’m yet to see one Liverpool fan condemn the behaviour last night
Maybe I’ve missed it.....
----------------------------------------------------------------------
no one is condoning it but given what's happened over the past few weeks last night was mild.

Again, it’s not a competition to see who can let the country down the most
Even if I agree with the protesting ,as an example , I wouldn’t go and join them !
For the record I don’t agree with any of it
I want my job back so I can pay my bills and eat
It’s as simple as that
