World class XI in EPL:

AWB------VVD------Maguire------Shaw
Martial--------Pogba---------------Bruno
Greenwood--------Kane------------Rashford

Ramos and Varane have four tough games a year against Barca and Atletico Madrid. The rest of the league is very poor. Most of their opponents have midgets as strikers with no pace or in the case of Bilbao a headless chicken with pace with the name Inaki Williams. They both struggled the one time they played a big target man in De Jong of Seville. Varane always has problems with big physical strikers with a good hold up play.
VVD at this moment is better than both Madrid defenders. They were worldclass a few years ago but not anymore.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
and the ignorance continues
VVD would greatly improve real madrids defensive records without a doubt. As would Alisson. They'd see an imrpovement in that department no doubt.

I watched the games of Leganes, Alaves yesterday and they were very very poor teams. You need to watch La Liga more if you want to judge the quality of their players. Bournemouth will be relegated but still have dangerous quick players like Wilson.

Alisson for sure.
But as said previously Madrid are tested defensively far less than Liverpool in a league season. Therefore they'd have no need to replace one of their current CBs, and they have the best partnership in world football.
No doubt VVD is a better or as good as defender as both the Madrid lads but that doesnt mean he'd go straight in their team. Players suit certain teams etc

World class at diving mate
Kante has been blighted by injuries. When fully fit a case can be made for him.
Deary me Lordy be, anyone who doesn’t think Sergio Aguero is a world class striker must be on some seriously hard drugs
Been one of the best strikers in Europe for at least a decade
A lot of Liverpool players were world class when they were actually a decent team around a year ago. Now only a handful of United players and De Bruyne are world class in the EPL.

Similarily Wilson is only useful against poorer sides.
David de Gea...
...apparently
stopped reading when the op Klaimed harry as world class.
seriously though, the article then only got worse as pogba and vardy got a mention
so lets look seriously at this
Man City - Ederson, Silva, De Bruyne.
Aguero (longevity but i would have him very marginal due to argentina),I can't put little mr miss a lot in. Sterling just makes too many gaffes.
Liverpool - VVD, Alisson, TAA (hollywood), Salah might squeeze in but just about Robertson, but on the grounds that when you think about it can you name better left fulls out there? I know LFC fans big up others and they are all vital but could put in mane and Firmino based on what I said about sterling?
Manchester United - Very hard to make a case for many. Not being cheeky but De gea drops out. for sure. None of their back line have a case (i'll give them a yet) The forwards then. Martial, james, no way. Rashford has to still improve. Fernandes impact is such that he could be world class. Pogba showed why he's not world class yesterday. They have very good players but they need to take the step now.
Spurs - Kane, yes you have to give the man credit for his record. I couldn't put anyone else in. Lloris maybe a long time ago, maybe not.
Arsenal - Aubameyang is probabaly just on the cusp. As a forward he's brilliant but is he really world class? I couldn't call any other arsenal players close.
Chelsea - I still think kante is the best in the world as no 6. I really like a lot of their young players but we are looking at players coming on not players who are there just yet. they will kick on imo though. Werner with one good year next season could be firmly in there. pulisic needs to do more still, havertz is not confirmed and again needs a season or two to make the list. Mount is certainly the same.
My veiw is you can't just call someone who's done nothing but be talented world class but equally a guy with a medal like pogba can't be called world class either when he has obvious flaws.
theres lot of really really good players out there but world class is a cut above and have proven it on the big stage.

european success? europa league 10 years ago with atletico. thats not enough.
International success? ziltch can we count the olympics really? has two runners up medals.
Aguero is class, we all know it but has he been just under the level or just not been lucky. Who knows.
As a forward its tough to compete with Messi and ronaldo for attention.

Lewandowski has one CL runners up medal and nothing at international level.
A striker’s judged by the number of goals he scores not the success of his club
