Real and Barca bought many of the best players in the league and both are absolutely miles ahead of all premiership teams. Miles.
The league is rubbish at the moment.
Its amazing how Liverpool fans now think its ok to spend loads of someone elses money, yet have spent the last 4 or 5 years saying its a disgrace that Chelsea then City did it. Such a bunch of hypocrites.

Manu bought title after title. Chelsea bought a few. Citeh just bought an FA Cup.
Trophies have been bought for a decade and a half now. Fight fire with fire.
Pool spent big last summer, but they bought sh*te like Jovanavic, Poulsen and Konchesky aswell as adding Joe Cole on exorbitant wages. The year before that they wasted funds on the likes of Aquilani and the greek fella, oh and Glen Johnson. in that time they did add a couple of decent signings meireles and maxi.
They dont seem to be doing much different, buying well in Suarez and hoping that Carrol and Henderson will be worth a £55m gamble.

Thanks to the last owners, we've been trying to buy 7th-8th place. G&H couldn't even manage to succeed in that.
