‘ I'd wager those 3 know a bit more than most of you who tend to change your mind from game to game’

You’re right. No need to debate this any further.

Or indeed anything else for that matter.

So over the top. People are talking like he's a mix of Thierry henry, Vieira and VVD.

AMN wasn't trusted by Wenger, Emery or Arteta and I'd wager those 3 know a bit more than most of you who tend to change your mind from game to game on whether someone is terrible or brilliant.

Get a grip AMN is average and will always only be a utility squad player. Get a good price for him and buy someone who will improve us.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Arteta trusts AMN a lot and absolutely wants to keep him. But the board who know next to nothing about football overruled him.

I genuinely think that if Arteta insisted he was key to his plans we'd keep him as we've others who are worth more we could sell. Like Torreira, Laca etc

Ornstein reported that arteta wasn't impressed with his timekeeping but you'd imagine that he's improved on it if he got a start in a final

I think it is more a matter that the board were committed to buy Cedric (for whatever reason) and they didnt take into account that Arteta could turn AMN carrier around. Now we ended with 3 RBs and one has to leave.

20 million is an absolute joke of a price, ffs we're talking about a player who still has the potential to be worth 3 or 4 times that, in one season.

I was impressed he managed to make two posts without mentioning Ozil.

I don't want to say that discipline is not an issue because it is. But I fear that young (ish) coaches are making too much of a fuss about it. Almost like it is their only way to earn respect from the players.
Going on that basis, the like of Vieira (who was known to be late and lazy in training), Best, Berbatov, etc... would have never got a carrier.

AMN has fixed up now regarding attitude.

I think it would be criminal to let him go ahead of the injury prone, and not that great Bellerin.

If it's midfield he really wants, then he has no future here. But as a RB, with a bit of fine tuning, he could be a starter for us for years. He has all the tools to do well there.

He's played FB/WB (both sides) against Utd, City, Chelsea and shut down the winger every time. That's a valuable player.

He has concentration issues, but he's worked on that.

I’d like to keep him as a utility player but let’s be honest, he hasn’t been to the standard since he’s Been here bar a few games where he had looked decent. If we got good money for him then good luck to him. Seriously a few overrating him on here. Technically he’s not gd enough in final 3rd.

Dan and Imran get it through your dumb feck heads! Whether you rate him or not, 20 million is an insanely low price for a player with his skillset and experience that is counterproductive to the idea of raising funds to strengthen the team.

Pair of <surfers> who will be first in the line to slate about it when they sit and watch another club make a profit. They'll be all "Oh the board were dumb s," then.

No, that would be you, the who's stupid enough to think 20 mil for him isn't a bad deal for AFC

It’s a good deal for Arsenal.

Selling AMN and keeping trash like Willock is an utter disgrace

posted on 7/8/20

Players like Willock should be in the championship

AMN has locked down most players this season whether its left back or right back

Typical arsenal, always have to sell big to make some money back. Last notible sale was iwobi

I dont think we have actually signed the Ceballos loan extension yet, so if we sell Guen, AMN and Torreira who are all rumooured to be on the way out and with Ozil unwanted we will be left with Xhaka, Saka and Willock from the midfielders currently shown on the Arsenal website. That is absolutely crazy as we are supposed to have limited funds.

We have rarely sold big since 2013, it is one of our major issues. Even your example was hardly bank breaking, and certainly did not put a significant dent in the spend.

All teams who buy also sell. You can't have unlimited players.

And if Willock is "trash" then surely you understand the market isn't there for him?

What an irrational and clueless retaard you truly are, Castor. Absolutely no knowledge at all.

Funnily enough, if we did sell Guendouzi, Torreira and AMN then we would have funds to buy replacements. Kind of how it works.

DJ, we can't buy a player as good as AMN, with his experience and youth for 20 mil. You talk of funds for replacements as though we'll actually raise any lo-ball pricing our talent like that. I don't think we should sell him at all but if we do it shouldn't be for less money than we sold Iwobi for.

$40 mil, I still don't like it but OK. 20...just plain ridiculous.

What are you talking about? I laughed at £20m for Ains.

Partey is £45m, for example. Those 3 will get comfortably more than that between them.
