Looks like anything between 10 days and 3 years. Should be home for Xmas.

What an effing idiot.

Regardless of the outcome from the authorities, he shouldn’t be walking out as club captain when the season starts. (If all reports are found true).

Did someone punch him in the face and break their hand though?

Then he would have to do two weeks quarantine.

If he is found guilty then United should sack him immediately. No Ifs, No Buts. If you hit a copper over here, then rightly you would expect to be going to gaol.

Terrible, terrible behaviour.

...:.

It certainly would be if that was what happened.

Best not to be the judge, jury and executioner until you know all the facts. Which you will not find on twatbook.

Guilty until proved innocent then still guilty in the eyes of rival fans.

It's the ja606 way.

Yeah, cause they're likely to sack a player that they paid £80m for just over a year ago.

Get real.

Yes I am sure the club will just write off an £80m investment.

Rival fans shouted "F*** United" towards Harry Maguire and his friends at a bar in Mykonos. Maguire's sister was stabbed with a 'sharp object' and he stepped in to defend her #mulive [mykonos voice]

Greg's response here is interesting. Seems to be solely based on how well he's performed at United thus far, rather than anything to do with the crime he is alleged to have committed.

I doubt he's the only one that feels the same either.

If his sister was stabbed then you can't complain if he got a bit violent.. I mean who wouldn't?

Probably had a few to drink and thought he'd try giving the officers a load of money to keep quiet, a bit naive but worth a go I guess.
In some countries it's much easier to bribe officials..

I'm actually in Greece right now so it's interesting, not far from where Maguire is right now.

Still I think he's rubbish player. Not good enough for United and shouldn't be a united player after this. We can do better.

Yeah, if his sister was attacked, then that changes the context completely.

......

What ever the outcome and whatever facts of the events come to light he will be stripped of the club captaincy.

We are not going to get rid of the player.

The problem here could be as simple as trying to buy the Greek police a drink after the incident or even not paying enough.

I could be wrong but having been abroad and being asked for money and not offering what was asked can go against you

He’s never going to live the price tag down but he’s head and shoulders a better CB than Lindelof

Jones and Bailly have decent attributes but are made of glass so they’re a waste of a wage
