I think Arteta will win a UCL & a PL at Arsenal within 3
years.
He’s already bagged a major title in his first few months. The trajectory is insane.
Arteta he’s won a cup it’s what football is all about
Too early to say. Ole been there a longer period. Lampard had a transfer ban. And arsenal finished where? 8th? But not sure if he was manager all season or not.
Ole looks to be doing well at Utd though. Very close between him and Lampard for me
Lampard did well to get into the CL with existing squad and youth team. The test is if he can make his expensive new signings work out, then he'll be judged.
OGS - apart from Maguire, his signings have been good.
At the moment it looks like Arteta is in the lead. It all could change next season.
I feel within 2, maybe 3 years, Arteta will be the only one still at his present club, and will go on to be a decent manager.

Could be a decent manager but unless he kickstarts this arsenal team they will remain hopeful of top 4 and get a few fa cups but that will be the extent of it.
Any success Arteta gets in England will be short lived until one of the mega clubs from Spain come in for him.
Winning the FA Cup, doesn't put Arsenal on anybody's radar. 3 points behind UTD with a game in hand, Arteta's Arsenal did what?
Ended up with what points total?
Someone talking about trajectory? Be real to yourself, and draw a line of Arsenals trajectory in the league since '04.
Trends downwards doesn't it.
Yeh, look, too many false dawns with that club.
Keep winning the same FA Cup and can never push on. Prove me wrong, but all i see is a very average team, and now looking more like a Retirement Home.
Arsenal done turn into LA Galaxy of the Premier League lol.

Could be a good shout that.
Not sure about the 'mega club' bit, but could see Arteta going to Spain.
Arteta has the best win ratio at their current clubs which surprised me slightly:
Arteta = 57.15%
OLS = 54.44%
Lampard = 52.7%
Much smaller number of games obviously but that and the FA Cup; it's a good start to his managerial career.
Arteta took over midway through the season, during a heavily congested fixture period, when the players and staff were all low on confidence/motivation and inherited a squad that wasn't his and had injury problems throughout. Despite the adverse conditions, he got us playing better football, improved our defence, made us more competitive in matches and won a trophy - something that was unthinkable when he took over given the dire straits we were in. He's also managed to beat United, Liverpool, City and Chelsea along the way. I can't even remember the last time we won against those sides in a single season.
Given United's outlay on their players, they should be competing for the league. Ole did OK to get them to 3rd, but that's the minimum for a club like United. He's done an average job.
Lampard has impressed me at Chelsea, but so far, out of all 3, Arteta looks to be the most promising.
Arteta looks by far the best manager to me. He's had a much weaker squad to work with than the other two, and has quickly established his style of play. In the FA cup final he took lampard to the cleaners tactically.
Of the three, Arteta will have the best managerial career. Imo for Lampard and Ole their current clubs will be the peak if their career, they're there through circumstance. I couldn't imagine them managing Barca in 10 years time, but wouldn't be shocked if Arteta is.

last summer our gross and net spend was lower than arsenal's, and that was before losing £90m pogba for 2/3 of the season.
Arteta still has a lot to prove, but there's no denying he's had an excellent start to his managerial career.
If we carry on in an upward trajectory, I'll be surprised if he's not been poached by one of the elite of the elite clubs in 3-4 years time. Either that, or he could go back to City.

So what? Your starting position was better than ours so you had less reinforcements to make compared to us.
Besides, I'm saying overall. You've spent something like £850m since SAF left. You should not be scrapping it out in a top-4 battle. You should be competing for leagues and Champions Leagues.
There's no way you're going to convince me Ole has done a stellar job at United. He's been OK, but nothing more.

what's the club's total outlay got to do with anything? if we spent £60m on di maria and then sold him, why would that mean that united should be winning the PL? lukaku was our 2nd biggest signing, he was sold too. our biggest signing played the equivalent of 13 PL games this season.
go and look at the team we put out against liverpool at OT and a) tot up the cost of the players on the field and b) tell me that with that team OGS should be winning the title.

Are you seriously trying to argue with me that United shouldn't be competing for leagues and CLs? You're one of the top 3/4 clubs in the entire world, don't try and tell me that United should be battling it out for 4th place finishes on the final day against Leicester City. Generally speaking, you are performing well below where you should be.
The facts are your recruitment has been poor, your managerial appointments haven't been great either, there's been a lack of leadership and no semblance of a coherent strategy beyond signing marquee players.
Arsenal massively, massively underachieved last season. Even the FA Cup win does not mask how bad the season was. But from the point where Arteta took over, he has done well.
Ole's had much longer in the job and looked very average until one big January signing totally transformed your fortunes.
what on earth does this have to do with OGS? the op wants to rate the 3 managers, not the 3 clubs. you won't find a single united fan who will defend the competence of the club over the last decade or so, nor will you find many who will defend our CEO/negotiating team/scouts.
but, again, what does that have to do with OGS?
again, go and look at the team we fielded against liverpool at OT - which was the team we often fielded in the first half of the season, minus martial - and tell me that with that team OGS should be winning the title. this season all of pogba/fernandes/greenwood missed 2/3 of the season (for different reasons of course), and shaw missed half the season.
Lampard has the best season solely because he’s had to put up with kepa lol

Given where Ole started from, you can't seriously think Ole is expected to be challenging for the title right now, do you?
The point is simple - with some of the players you've got, and with the backing Ole's received, you did OK last season. 3rd place is decent, but it's not spectacular (especially given how shiiit the other competitors were). So Ole did an alright job. You should not be finishing 33 points behind the leaders though. And losing 3 semi-finals in a season will understandably be a blemish.
