having 2 games postponed hasn't helped to be honest
also don't think it was a great idea to give the players time off after our first game of the season
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Brought that on yourselves.
Lennon gave players the time off so he could go on a 2 day bender.
BTW last night’s “performance” pretty much bombs the theory that our players bottle these big games due to pressure from the home crowd. They’re just bottle merchants period. For all Lenny’s failings, that was a team we should have still beaten comfortably. Our squad have a “just doing enough” mentality that’s been there for a few seasons now. No idea how many more wake up calls they need to get out of that mindset, but our start to a possible 10IAR campaign couldn’t really have gone much worse so far. I honestly didn’t think complacency would be a problem THIS season.
Brought that on yourselves.
I'm well aware of that but thanks for pointing it out

got to agree with that, one thing I didn't foresee was complacency

They’d been training a long time before that tbf.
It’s Elhamed’s fault for not being fit enough surely. Big diddy looked like he smoked 40 a day trying to catch that guy
he's moaning about players not being up to speed
he can't have it both ways
he let himself down with his comments last night, he started by saying it was his fault with team selection etc then started on players wanting to leave etc
if was structured the exact same as every Gerrard interview when Rangers dont win

I posted the same thing after the Killie game. It’s a place we can always drop points, but the attitude and overall standard that day was shocking. Clear as day we weren’t anywhere near “at it”, which is frankly unacceptable in this of all seasons. Lenny is a huge part of that problem though.
Will cut him some slack for the games we lost due to Boli’s idiocy, but in general he needs to do far more on squad fitness IMO.

Do Celtic go into the Europa play off or does this set them back to 3rd qualifying?
Bull$hit I’m no great fan of Gerrard but he does not always throw players under the bus
Hopefully it's all early enough in the season to address it
We need to shake this whole - play that game another 10 times and Celtic win everytime ..we need to perform on the day
But strangely I thought we looked strong last night
We turned the corner after going a goal down and battered them really , it's the inability to finish them off and the goal we gave away that concerns me

join the 3rd round or potentially could get a bye to the playoffs
we're only seeded for the first round we play though and all ties are 1 off games because the EL is a week behind the CL
29 attempts at goal last night, 25 on Saturday.....2 goals from that is unacceptable really and no wonder we are struggling so bad

What about Forrest ?
He's got absolutely no one pushing him for a spot and it shows
I'd love us to sign a proper winger
Even if it just kicks his erse into gear
We lost the same way we beat Barca
Completely undeserved and with a launch up the park. It's just scheidt when it's on the other foot
And my Mrs would win a 50/50 with him. He's a proper shietebag

Indeed. Combine that with an ever changing “defence” that looks like conceding any time the opposition cross the halfway line (including Hamilton), and it ain’t a great combo! I don’t just mean our back 4 are poor defensively ... we are pash as a team when we don’t have the ball. Been the case for ages. CalMac (a player we all love) is going through the motions at the moment. Burnout from the ridiculous game time he’s had in the last 2 seasons, maybe? Or just the same malaise that seems to be affecting everybody else?
TBH as soon as I saw the nick of Lenny when the season started, I had a bad feeling about how this campaign might pan out. Sorry, but he just doesn’t look professional.
