Overrated at his peak. Now getting overly criticised. If he carries on at his recent levels will be a top 10 cb of the pl era
Kind of a stupid stat. He’s probably played more minutes than 99% of defenders in the same period.
3 individual errors in 2 seasons also seems kind of low. Surely Mustafi/Sokratis/Luiz have made more than that 🤔

he could make 20 more this season wouldnt change my opinion hes the best cb ive ever seen, guys just class, has it all.
Might not stand up career wise in a team game by the end but individual ability etc he smokes the rest of the prem cbs.

It's the way they measure what counts as an error. Giving away a penalty, free kick, or leaving your man unmarked doesn't count for example.

The guy is a top player. The best centre back in world currently however in an era that isn’t the strongest in terms of defenders.
Top player but not one of the greats.
He's cack with all those mistakes. The whole three mistakes make everything he's done redundant.

Disagree, dont think Terry was better at any part of the game over VVD as i said hes about as complete as you can get for a CB. His only real downfalls are not being lucky enough to be in a dominant team from the offset and sometimes overly casual for his own good, what his mistakes come from. And Terry is one of the best all time CBs, VVD still has more, just not the career.

You mean like the 18/19 season where won the CL and took the PL to the final game. Or the 19/20 season where we won the PL amongst other trophies.
competed in the group stages...not sure what you did in the last 16 counts as competing ha
Yeah we won the league and an Adrian blunder cost us our CL tie. However, before that we won the CL and finished second by a point. I'd say that's competing across both competitions myself.
