I didn’t see the game, but what was this about the ref blowing for FT before the penalty
What happened there? Why did they continue playing ?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Because the handball was under review when the whistle went. Therefore the game is only over once the outcome of the decison has been decided.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Penalty offence took place before the final whistle was blown, so if the ref had seen it he would have awarded a penalty before he blew for full time.
The Leeds and Brighton decisions were clear handball before and after the rule amendment. The United one was a joke.

How was it more of a penalty? Ward had his arm by his side, Lindelof had his up in air away from the body.

The ball was booted at him from close range. Nothing he could have done. You can’t play football without your arms.
Right now in the Palace game this review was a whole minute after the incident and a penalty has been given for one that shouldn’t be.
