2019/20 - 8 in 30 games - 0 for handball
2030/21 - 20 in 26 games - 6 for handball

And that’s all I have to say about that.

The clear and obvious side to it was what most had a problem with last season, and it’s seemingly been addressed. Now people are unhappy with it for the opposite reason. And where do you draw the line at clear and obvious? I’m not sure you can, so we’re left with cancelling out as many incorrect decisions as possible. The refs are now going across to check the screens themselves and seem to be willing to overturn their own decisions from what we’ve seen so far. It’s all an improvement on last season.

Perhaps I’m missing something but how have some of the penalties been given so far been clear and obvious ?

Palace v United
Saints v Spurs
Spurs v Newcastle
Palace v Everton

Nothing clear or obvious about shy of them. Awful decisions, and we are only a couple of weeks in

What I meant that the clear and obvious part seems to have been removed. That’s how it looks anyway.
