Bit of a gamble but would like to see how this midfield fares compared with the current sheiteshow.

Telles is performance dependent of course and the front two are changeable with Martial and Greenwood.

Harsh on Shaw who I prefer to either Lindelof or Bailly, but we didn't get a CB in. Don't really have a preference between Bailly or Lindelof but would just about go for the former. Pogba has to get back to full fitness and play himself into the side. Cavani is a great option off the bench if fit enough.

We won't see that midfield though.

If Ole can pick his strongest team and they're all in good form then I think we can be a match for most teams on our day.

The issue for me is whether we can utilise the squad well to make sure we haven't flogged our better players to death.

With the signing of Telles I believe that a diamond is our best option at present giving us a numerical advantage in midfield whilst also giving us goal threats with Pobga, VdB, Bruno in support of our forwards.

Think I'd probably go with a pretty similar team to everyone else here. Only differences being i'd try Williams over AWB - I'm convinced by the end of this season he'll have taken that spot. And I also think Axel has it in him to take the CB spot next to Maguire, but obviously it depends on fitness. (Bailly vs Lindelof is much of a muchness imo)

This is with what we have now. The only reason why I would go with Hendo over DDG is because Hendo looks more commanding of his penalty area and he acts as a sweeper better than DDG.

The CB position is a real issue. Bailly is the lesser of the two evils with him and Lindelof.

Fred is cover for DDG, Telles for extra width over Shaw. Pogba once fit can cover Beekers or Bruno.

Rashers and Cavers cover the front two.

A bit controversial maybe but I like it.

Not sure about strongest but next game I would play the following...
