Petrov er, were has Wayne Bridge gone?

---
But we did finish just 8 points of the drop zone, It was a good run early doors that kept us up, We only got injuries end of March to Holden yet we had only won 3 games since the turn of the year in 15 attempts with Holden in the side?

---

And we were just 3 points off 8th place !!! yes we finished badly.

Can I just ask you, who you would bring in thats better than Coyle?

No worries of relegation that proves your not in touch with reality. You do know we are bottom of the league. In terms of facts. Sturridge was signed by Chelsea from city as a big prospect. Wilshire was seen as a first teamer. The following season. Arsene wenger said that much when we signed him. Maybe not numerical facts but enough to say we were not responsible solely for making these players.

That attitude could cost Coyle his job or us our Premiership status come May?

--

It could not?

Why don't we just trust Coyle rather than getting on his back when things are tough, IMO, it is far too early to be considering changing things at the top, that could be more risky than keeping him ...

Wayne bridge is still at city and is a far better player than Robinson or current weak link.

We are a few games into the season and have played fixtures we are statistically bad at, no matter when we play them .....

Swp
Dj Campbell
Yakubu
Vukevic
Wayne bridge
Onouha
Wes brown

Of those players you have picked 3 Very injury prone players in Yakubu, Bridge and Brown.

2 who have not wanted to come to Bolton in the past, Vukcevic and Onouha.

And 2 who chose to get megabucks wages at QPR.
We offered SWP £45k per week...highest earner...he rejected in order to recieve £70k a week, if we are prepared to offer that much and he is offered £25k more...then we cannot be blamed.

From what I saw of him at West Ham, he wasn't worth the wages he demanded, simple as .....

Were have I said we made them? they were good players who COYLE signed, no matter what interest other clubs had, WE signed them !!!!!

Personally i do not want Coyle to go he was my choice a good 12 months before he arrived i just wish he could open up his mind to new things.
Like stopping Jussi punting it long to find the opposition every single time and it come straight back to us, Drop Knight and never put him back in the team ever again, try 4-3-3 like we used to do under Big Sam, Drop Kevin Davies for good, Not play Muamba and NRC as they offer the same thing in the team.
Try being a bit tighter at the back and not gung ho all the time he needs to learn the skills quicker to survive but i really don't want him sacking.

As per a replacement if they did let him go it's tough it is who can we afford Ancellotti is still out of work but that is a big dream there.
Laudrup just quit at Mallorca, Nigel Adkins at Southampton is on fire at the minute ans they play some superb football and would be worth a punt.

Moses its not about changing him YET! You keep saying trust coyle but the only thing anyone can really trust since jan is we will get beat. That is based on fact. Now if I had had such a bad year at work people would be asking if my job was safe. Why is coyle different?

If you read any interview Coyle has he says what brand of football he wants to play..quick attacking football where the ball is kept on the ground.

There are some players who are not comfortable on the ball..and having them pass it rather than punt it may be even more dangerous.

I think he needs support rather than abuse.

Good point Petrov er i run my own business and if i had delivered results like this i would be bankrupt by now

HH
When can we say we play attractive free flowing attacking football?
Apart from the game versus Spurs last season 90% of what i have seen is punt it to Davies and hope Elmander could get on the end of it.
The reason we did so bad against Stoke was because we are so obvious in what we will do and they marked him out of the game and took out our only threat.
Davies looks so bad cause teams are wise to him and us now we need to change tatics and formations to get results and i am not sure if Coyle is capable of that.

Petrov er, you can't trust Coyle but can 'support' him.

Why don't you ask Gartside why he is still at our club? he must be seeing something e.g. getting to the Semi final of a Cup competition which you all seem to be forgetting ....

Bridge is still a better player than robbo. Sometimes you have to go that bit extra.

What did he do last week? and do during the matches for a few games prior?

Come of the bench and do sweet nothing upfront whilst we lost 3-0 to Arsenal

The few before that he got dragged of after 45 minutes and 60 minutes as he was as useful as a chocolate fireguard.

Bridge is on £88k a week at City, even if he were to HALF his wages, he would still be our highest earner.

He is injury prone and his recent performances haven't given me any confidence he is worth anymore than £25k a week.

Coyle has taken Davies out for the last two games aswell as playing 451 instead of 442..

I havent said we always play this brand of football, what im saying is that is how Coyle wants us to play, trouble is getting the right players into the team to do so...truth is without Holden you are relying on Mark Davies to dictate tempo, unfortunately he goes missing all to often when playing which ultimately leads to his often non inclusion.

Coyle knows that Davies is no longer a starter for Bwfc, he made that call when he chose not to play him. He hasnt bought N'Gog for £4m to make him our back up striker..

I don't support coyle I support Bolton. That's why I never booed megson and never will to coyle. As with megson, coyle is culpible of seeing us on losing runs. The fact he is a nicer guy than megson matters little to me. It is not about him it's about what's best for Bolton. What's best for Bolton is PL football. If that is threatened those responsible for threatening go. That was megson two years ago. If that is coyle as Christmas gets closer I am sorry but it's bye from me. That's because I think of the club and not some weird man love of coyle.

In terms of the semi best not to mention that embarrassment again Moses. Not really a positive getting battered when your favourites for the game. That was coyles worst day as bwfc manager to date as he was totally out thought by a superior manager in pulis.

If Coyle knew Holden is our main player and knew he would be out till at least October before this new injury why did he not sign another midfielder to fill the role?
We all know Mark Davies can go missing for games and is not able to control a midfield, He signed Pratley who is not of the same ilk and NRC who is Muamba but can pass not exactly a Holden replacement.
Why not add someone to help out if he knew Holden was that important to us?

posted on 28/9/11

Bwfc he is not a great person but Barton would have improved our team. QPR fans may not like him but let's be honest it's a results industry. Other clubs like united have sold out in the name of wins.

I said 'getting to the Semi final' not the Semi final !!!

Why are you constantly thinking of scenarios to fit your arguments? e.g. if we are still were we are by Christmas !!!

The players have to take some responsibility for Wembely as well petrov er, Coyle set them up...but each player offered a lacklustre and pathetic performance. If the players had given more effort, something they definitely lacked that day it would have been totally different. Fear got to the players that day i reckon..

He probably didnt sign a midfielder to cover the role because this player may then become obsolete when Holden was meant to return.

The board wouldnt have let him sign another player without selling another first.

And what wage is he on? he was on £67k a week at Newcastle and has signed a four year contract with QPR on similar wages !!!

This isn't Football manager, its the real world. You complain that this run is threatening our club and yet want to sign players on wages that would threaten our club, just like they did with Pompey and with West Ham !!!

I do wish my opinion would stop getting fobbed off as a 'rose tinted one'

The longer term posters on here would certainly agree that I am not always positive and my views are not rose tinted.

If Ricketts was fit, he would play, probably left back. That is where our problem is.

It is very easy to pick the team apart when we get torn a new one by class teams. Like I pointed out on an article last week. Our points tally against the same 4 'top' clubs is currently at -2 compared to last year, which isn't all that bad considering the 4 teams in question have all improved tenfold.

The only reason it looks so bad is because we have played them all in a month
