It is almost as if Lennon bought too many players! We said how good the transfer window was.

Not selling enough was the problem imo.

Stuck with guys who wanted to leave and have poisoned the dressing room by not putting in the effort.

WGS until the end of the season then use the window to get rid of those not wanting to be here. Missing width yet had shved on loan.

WGS will talk pash in the media but he knows his stuff and this team and what he has to work with.

The stark reality is we’re a bang average team who have enjoyed great success in recent years purely because of the poor standard of opposition in Scotland and the lack of any real challenge. We’ve been spoiled domestically but our performances at home and away in Europe have been dire. There is not a single player in our team who would get anywhere near the Martin O’Neill side. We’ve regressed so much but it has been ignored because we have kept winning trophies. Now that Rangers have got their act together they have caught and overtaken us and will probably win the treble this year. Make no mistake, this has been coming and our Board have been blind to it. We all know they took the cheap and lazy option in appointing Lennon as permanent manager after the cup final. He is tactically inept and completely lacks professionalism but that doesn’t excuse the disgraceful scenes last night. The writing was on the wall last season when Rangers outplayed us in the League Cup final but we somehow won thanks to Fraser Foster. They then beat us at CP and should have ran us all the way in the league but they collapsed. That won’t happen again this year. Scott Brown should have been replaced by John McGinn 2 seasons ago but the Board quibbled over offering an extra £500k. They have banked millions from the sale of Dembele and Tierney and replaced them with guys on loan from clubs who want rid of them. We’re now left with players like N’tcham, Edouard, Rogic and Ajer who don’t want to be here and others like Christie and McGregor who we sent out on loan because we weren’t really sure if they were good enough.

Does Lennon even watch how teams set up? Ross County would always play like that yet he has 7 defensive players inc keeper in that line up yesterday and no real width to provide any service.

Strachan may be too sensible to take it on but i agree he's the stand out candidate in the current position.

Knows the club, not sure how many of the players he's worked with before but he watches Celtic no doubt so he must be the most likely to hit the ground running.

Strachan would get the best out of Edouard and Ntcham, but he’d also start brown.

Tough one.

Strachan got hounded out last time. Surely to f@ck he wouldn't want to take the job again?

please stop with the Strachan shouts, he thought Scotland wouldn't qualify for anything because our players are too small

Why cant we leave Brown out the team and bring him on when a game needs shored up. I would hope that WGS would use him sparingly.....

The manager is only part of the problem for celtic.

Yes I think someone can come in and get a step change improvement from the current guys.

It seems like there are too many players not up to the job, cant get fit or are wanting away. That would need to be addressed in January. Which is traditionally not a great time to be doing that sort of thing.

If there wasnt significant changes within the celtic squad I think that if (big if) we maintain the level of performance that we have shown so far this season we will win the league.

I only saw the last ten minutes or so of the celtic game yesterday and Laxalts delivery looked terrible.

Overhit cross followed by underhit cross.

How do his assist stats look so far for celtic? Are they decent?

Laxalt at times is too all over the place cutting inside too much, fair enough if you have inverted wingers or midfielders going wide for him. He should stick to the left wing and get baws in if we play 3-5-2 if Moi is beside him then its better for him moving inside.

I can’t think of any player who hasn’t regressed this season.
