Fair comment. You are correct, they will get better. But I still suspect there will be degradation. I don’t think there’s any rechargeable battery that’s immune to that
For sure all batteries do degrade, as do car engines. But if batteries can have a life of 1 to 2 million miles, it really puts that concern to bed.

It will be like the smoking ban. In a few years we will think, why did we let other people fill our lungs with pollutants due to their selfish behaviour? Being in a pub with people smoking is the same as walking down a street with people blasting out poisonous gases in my face. Should I collect it in a container and go and deliver it through their letter box? "Excuse me you left this behind on my street and it made me choke".
-----
Give us a break with this preachy bulsheet. Why would you walk down a street with people blasting poisonous gases in your face? Why not use another street? Or go to another pub? F off.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
They should allow pubs for smokers only to be fair so you can kill eachother faster. Rather than other people. Also roads with bubbles over them so you can breathe in your toxic gases instead of everyone else having to. Also resulting in death. If that's what you want then you're welcome to have that.
It was a strange argument, as if you can walk down a street without cars?
Germany and Holland have smoking and non-smoking pubs.
Oh to live in a country where you can make your own choices.
It doesn't matter to me if people choose to waste their money and health smoking. I have an issue when it affects me.
I have never smoked, but grew up going to pubs with other peoples smoke filling the air and coming home stinking of smoke.
I couldn't even go to a wedding or on a bus without having to put up with it. By all means waste money on cigs. But it shouldn't impact other people.

Choice is good. However in Holland, a lot of cities are dominated by bikes so you wouldn't be able to be brexity in a smoking pub and then drive home. You'd have to get on a bike like a hippy. So only half good for being brexity. America is where you want to be at.

Because they are targeting taxis and delivery vehicles before gas guzzling SUV's and there's a total lack of charging points
Gas guzzling vehicles are not specific to your area, and many businesses are now moving to electric vehicles, so again pretty normal.
Most people generally charge from home, but I can't believe you are in some kind of charging desert, as charging stations are being fitted everywhere.
Check zap map app, to find the ones nearest you.
Most people within a 4 mile radius of central Manchester either live in a terraced house or a flat so they can't charge at home.
Some of the available public chargers are either too slow or too expensive.
I agree for those unable to charge at home, owning an EV is more challenging. For those with off street parking however it can be almost liberating to no longer be tied to the petrol pump.
But yeah if you are one of those unable to charge at home, then it is probably worth waiting. But again not specific to Manchester.

Good idea. They should put this bubble on cars and even factories so that drivers and factory workers can breathe in their toxic gases instead of everyone else on the street having to. I figure a cigarette pollutes the street with fumes more than a car, right?
The point you are missing Thorgen, is that where possible we should be looking to clean up pollution and the air that we breath.
