Spurs have conceeded just four goals in eight Prem games. So the defence is doing it`s job. Also Spurs have taken 17 points out of 24 of the most difficult set of fixtures of the season.

So not overly worried. I still fancy Spurs to finish top when it matters in May.

Sir ..
Have you been reading the ballacks by both sets of fans on here 😂

Spurs are heading in the right direction...i didnt see the game but ye are grinding out results in other games to threaten a title run ...

Thing is, we have the players to play attacking and pressing football - Son, Kane, NDombele, Reg, Aurier Bergwijn etc. Press from PEH & Sissoko when he’s playing

Can’t stand the negative tactics. I’ll take it if we have a good season though.

Honest opinion from the op , still think spurs will end with some trophy this season 👍

Seriously getting wound up at the amount of over the top reactions to last nights game.

We lost to the champions away in a very tight game, we come within inches of winming the game.

Was it a good performance, no but it was a very good disciplined display and if we had gone out all guns blazing we would have been ripped to pieces.

Nothong wrong with the way we played, we switched off for 5 seconds and it cost us the game.

2 defeats in the league so far, thats the sign of a very good team. We go again this weekend.

do need a plan B to Kane dropping deep and hoofing behind

2nd half yesterday didnt our best chances come from Son flick ons to Bergwijn

The reality is 5 points separate us from Wolves in 10th place. If united win both their games in hand they are above us. Any injury to Kane or Son and we are well and truly in the chitter.

Yeah united win both their games in hand and go 2nd above us and everyone raving about them being in the chit, really does show we need to stay grounded. Good season so far obviously, especially in getting results in huge games (except yesterday)

yeah your points are valid and good ones.

The furstrating thing when you look at points dropped is the draws we have had.

Only 2 losses like you say with us being harder to beat now. But i think it is also fair for others to express their concern against 'lesser' sides where we have already threw away points. Conceding late in games remain an issue too, which happens with this 'style' of play

Leicester, who are 1 point behind us and we play at the weekend, have lost 5 games for example.

We are a very good team. A team capable of getting top 4 and a team capable of hopefully winning that trophy we desperately need. Currently, we are not good enough to win the league and just don’t have the bottle. Until Spurs get some trophies under their belt, they won’t get the monkey off the back. We have a good manager and a good team. We don’t have a title winning team just yet, it’s as simple as that. 2nd in the league by Xmas is still excellent going. Everyone would bite your hand off for that.

Great post Eddie. You would think Spurs were in a relegation battle the way some of our fans are reacting.

the monkey off the back is needed this season so that we can still go again with the same group next season. Hopefully Jose can actually have a slightly longer term at spurs than his other clubs.

It's great where we are but I don't take much consolation from the Liverpool result or performance. Yet again we lose there in the last minute when there are chances to win. This happened last season too, only the difference is this is supposed to be a better Spurs, and we played a supposedly worse Liverpool suffering from injuries. At what point are we actually going to make it count?

The game highlighted the big issue we have in that we need more than just Kane and Son. Need others to chip in the way Firmino chipped in for them when Salah and Mane couldn't find the back of the net.

The big worry if I was a Spurs fan is where the goals are coming from if Kane and Son have an off day or get injured. Your 3rd highest goal scorer in the league has just 1 goal.

You need goals from more than 2 players if you're going to win the title.

Spot on. This isn’t sustainable just relying on 2 scorers
