There are so many bang average players in this Arsenal squad, especially in midfield. Elneny for Willock is a sub that a team like Palace should be making.

Laca should have started. Whatever you may think of him he can hold the ball in a 3-4-3.

We have a very confusing style of play where it doesn't really seem clear that we know how to create. IMO if you don't operate with a playmaker, then you need to create chances by some other means (pressing, long ball, counter-attack etc.). We don't do any of that coherently. Consequently we're playing 3-4-3 with functional players and passing the ball harmlessly until it gets to the wings and breaks down.
