Why is this being made an arguement with fans who are allowed fans in arguing its OK and those who arent arguing it's not.
Why can't it be an adult conversation whwrw9irs debated about sensibly.
We clearly could gain an unfair advantage over Arsenal. I don't agree we should.
How can anyone possibly argue that playing with fans is no advantage to playing without.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I've not argued against your point, but in a normal season those teams playing in front of bigger crowds at home ALWAYS have an advantage.
Do you get fans of those clubs crying their eyes out when they have a poor run of results.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Clubs build their own stadiums and create their own fan base and accomdate them accordingly. I think you are trying to twist this just to try and gain some sort of argument to this, even though they are unrelated.

A stadium of 25K Palace fans make more noise than 60K Arsenal fans, so your argument is, well, basically flawed.

Anyway I'm sure everyone will be in tier 3 soon enough so if there is an advantage it will be gone in the next few weeks. As for us it didn't help us, we won 2 games we would expect to win at home.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I agree that Liverpool would have won. I still think its an unfair advantage. I think you playing at Palace with no fans was more of an advantage over us playing there with 2k hardcore home fans. You just happened to win 7-0 so that probably stops the debate over that result.

I suppose after 60 years without winning the league they've perfected the art of the excuse.

Fair point
Hopefully the disadvantage doesn't last too long, otherwise I do feel like it has an impact and thought the blame isn't laid on any team, it's just we should strive to have a league where all the clubs compete under the same circumstances

Why do we need any excuse?
We are exactly well places to take the CL place which is what I have been saying and have just come through a tough set of fixtures.
its minor, footballs strange atm everyones just trying to deal with it best they can.
Seasons have always thrown obstacles in the way for every club this is just another minor one on top. Footballs never been 100% fair and never will be, its impossible to be so. In a way overcoming these obstacles and unfairness makes any type of success that bit more sweeter.

I don't buy that top players go off their game because 2k people are booing them.
