What I love about this forum and some individuals in particular is that even when someone is telling them what they meant, they still argue what they meant.
Great entertainment.

Alright Rain Man. Back in your box.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
GT's gone off on one again...
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Some great stuff here
Fernandes has scored 15 and missed 1 penalty in 11 months for Utd.
Its taken Harry Kane since the 4th Feb 2018 to amass that many pens for Spurs - 35 months.
Do you think Utd would have got this one.....
https://twitter.com/SkySportsPL/status/1281278490197872640
Look up videos of all 16 penalties Fernandes has taken, and let us know how many are wrong decisions.
Then look at all the penalty shouts we've not won, that should have been.
Then do the same for Spurs, Liverpool, maybe Leicester seeing as they've actually had more than us.
Let us know your findings once you've watched all the clips, that's the only way we're going to solve this riddle and find out if there's a conspiracy or not.

So you think there have been no scenarios where a challenge looked like a pen but didn't get it?
And no scenarios where Spurs got a soft pen?
We can both take individual incidents, can't we? It's meaningless.
In 2016/17, Spurs received 9 pens and United just 4.
I think rival fans need to suck it up and stop moaning on about some historical bitterness regarding United, which is plainly what it is.
most PL penalties:
this season - leicester
1 year - leicester
3 years - united
5 years - leicester
all-time PL - liverpool

it becomes clearer every day how much some people's childhood/youth were ruined by united being good, the resentment really does run deep.
i can't imagine myself ever caring that much about football, but there you go.
It's kind of cute watching United fans actually believing Ole is suddenly a good manager.. They never learn. Still, third will be a good achievement when all is said and done.

We never got that many penalties under Mourinho either, probably because we didn't spend that much time in the opposition penalty area.
Spurs fans would be better taking it up with him about his style of football than crying about United getting more than them.

Speaking personally, my opinion of Ole has been consistent and hasn't changed these past few weeks.
But I suppose I'm talking to someone who believes that referees are bribed to favour United, so this will probably fall in deaf ears.

Not really that knee jerk is it, if you look at the whole of 2020 calendar year (34 games played unless otherwise stated).
1. Liverpool – 77 points
2. Man City – 66 points (32 games played)
3. Man Utd – 65 points (33 games played)
4. Chelsea – 57 points
5. Southampton – 56 points
6. Tottenham – 55 points (33 games played)
7. Everton – 53 points (33 games played)
8. Arsenal – 52 points
9. Wolves – 50 points
10. Leicester City – 49 points
Obviously room for improvement, but generally there has been an improvement gradually since he joined. So hardly a case of 'suddenly a good manager'.
