Some of them are OK but they're not like Lucio, Materazzi, Ramos, Varane, Pepe, Terry, Carvalho, Ivanovic, Cole, Marcelo, Samuel are they?

It's a mixture of the Manager and a psychological issue.
We have the players to play on the front foot for ninety minutes, but can't do it.
Mourinho has drilled this 'winning mentality' into them so much, that they think they must defend their lead at all costs, rather than attack for more goals.
So even if the HT message is not to sit back, psychologically they feel like that's what they need to do.
This is something that only the Manager can sort out.
If games ended in the first half this season, we'd be top!
He needs a proper CM to compliment PEH and another CB. Levy sort it out.

Sorry mate, they are not robots. If they feel they need to attack, they will attack. The switching off is becoming tiresome and every single one of them are to blame. I include the manager to.
This Kane playing in midfield has to stop right? Yes he created a load of goal which were boosted by 4 in one game but he needs to be in the box. Yesterday he was playing deep in midfield, right back, left back. Any team in the world would love to have Kane deep and then just stop Son.

Sanchez doesn't do flicks so he is great.
We have the squad to be challenging for the title this season with liverpool and city under par.
United squad is no better than ours and they are top with facking Solskjaer in charge.
If we had a progressive manager they would play a midfield 3 of PEH, Ndombele and lo celso and we could dominate games. Dele wouldn't be completely discarded for no reason. He might get something out of Bale, improve Bergwijn rather than dropping him every time he misses a chance.
Our poor form is solely down to Jose. It's bad enough to football is painfully awful, but the results are now matching. Not getting top 4 or winning Europa playing this awful football with this squad having being backed must be a sackable offence.
I think it's more complex than simply saying we don't have the players, nor is it likely that Jose is saying "sit on the edge of your own box for 90 mins". The buck still stops with him though as I think he's indirectly responsible for it. He hates players vacating their positions on the pitch, be that in possession or without. That breeds fear in the players. They've lost bravery on the ball, knowing that the best way of staying in the same position is to not have the ball in the first place. For me, they're all playing with that fear.
The players ARE good enough. Jose has stifled their freedom of expression. A good manager plays to a squad's strengths. He's an analogue manager in a digital age. The team we have right now isn't much different in quality to the one we had in 2016 that nearly won the title. Yet we all know that that 2016 side would utterly rip our current one to shreds. The reason? Jose v Poch. Simple as that.
I'm fed up with fans blaming the players suddenly. This is exactly what Sandy did. When we lost before it was Poch's fault. Now it's the players' fault. Rubbish! We just don't have the manager. Think about it. If Jose really was at the top of his game, would he really be managing us, who haven't won the league for 60 years? Of course he wouldn't. He's only joined us because he couldn't get anything better. If that's not a sign of a manager's powers waining I don't know what is.
He's a Generation X manager plying his trade with the Millennials and Generation Z. It just doesn't work.
