Good luck to Poch but never again. Jose has been with us for just over a year.
It takes time to change the mentality of team and at the same time integrate new players.
Alot of people are jumping the gun with their articles and comments about Jose Out. The time to judge as always is at the end of the season.
I know his tactics are not everyone's cup of tea but all managers need time. I will always be Jose In as long as he is wearing his Spurs pajamas.
What I can't be bothered with is another sacking and transition period of another AVB, Poch or Sherwood.
With that Jose gets this and next season for me. That's three more windows to bring in his players and shift the likes of Sanchez, Aurier, Dier, Winks and whoever else to bring Spurs to the forefront.
If it means sacrificing "entertainment" and pretty football so be it. Take it on the chin and watch a film or something else.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I'm starting to think Sherwood would get more out of this team right now. He would just focus on the basics in that we have some top attacking talent and should be able to out-attack most other sides in the league with it. Probably lose to the bigger teams but I'd take that over getting dominated by most below league teams and dropping points to them. I reckon Sherwood, if he was to suddenly get the job, would have the same effect Ole did after Mourinho.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Whoever you place in charge still has to deal with Sissoko, Winks, can they get the best our Ndombele? Will they improve Dier/Sanchez/Toby and our leaky defence? Stick with Jose.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Ndombele is quality I think we can all now appreciate that, including yourself who used to call him "fatguy". Any manager is going to utilise him.
For all the good Mourinho did in improving the defence it has become leaky again, and I don't care about the defence being tighter if it means our attack isn't going to exist anymore.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Ndombele is very overrated by some of our fans. Yes he has been very good in flashes but I have yet to see him boss a game from start to finish to justify the lavish praise I have seen from some posters.
He is no Jack Grealish or KDB or Bruno. I'd say he was in a league below. Mount, Kovacic, Maddison, McGuin,
Wijnaldum, Moutinho and Pogba. He probably sits somewhere in between these lot. Just turned 24 so he has a few years on some of his peers but he still needs to get fitter and better to justify some of the hype.
The fatguy and lardy names were all justified at the time.
I think in a few years Eze will overtake him anyway.
Teams know our right hand side is a weakness, how many goals that we concede have come from down that side of the pitch. Aurier, Sanchez, Doherty are all bang average and / or error prone. It`s probably why Mourinho always picks Sissoko, to cover that side, but that just means we are weaker in the centre of the park.

To the OP, seeing as the majority of our normal starting eleven only normally contain two to three players signed under Mourinho. Would this suggest that in hindsight we were wrong to pull the trigger on Pochettino and perhaps he should have been given a chance to refresh and rebuild the team again? All ifs and buts I know by the way.

serious question....do you want Jorginho
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Why would we wanna give them our best midfielder, it's such a shame Frank doesnt know how to use him or the fact that he was playing with hamsik, and allan to now playing with kante and mount,, Jorginho s a class act none of our midfielder have his intelligence and that's why he struggles most of the time
Article makes alot of sense and you can never really judge Jose until he has his own preferred players that being said he has to make success if Tottenham as I feel if he doesnt he will be finished as a manager and will struggle to get another Top job
You need an attack-minded and creative midfielder. Honestly guys you should get Coutinho on loan. He relishes a return to the PL, he's Portuguese speaking and will communicate well with Jose. You've got nothing to lose. Coutinho could do to Spurs what Fernandes did to Man U.
"I truly don’t believe we have a good enough defence or the players to play this way at the moment. I don’t think our full backs are anywhere near good enough, apart from Reguilon. Apart from Toby, I don’t think our centre backs are that great and are a disaster waiting to happen. I said this at the start of the season. I include Dier in this, who’s had a better season, but like Aurier I still don’t trust him."
************************
I agree with all of this. Dier has improved. But Toby is well into his 30's and cannot be replaced by Sanchez who is just not good enough.
I'm not impressed by Doherty either.
But Levy is "not expecting any business into the club".
So we are not going after top class young talent like RBLeipzig's Upamecano, who is coming up for grabs with Chelsea, Liverpool, MunU "interested"!
The Club was top of the league for a week! And now is slip-sliding away. If Mourinho does not win something this season he will be finished.
I wonder what Levy (and Lewis) are thinking right now?

How do you know we aren’t going for Upsy Daisy?
Levy is too tight to sign Upamecano, we needed a quality upgrade at RB last summer, we ended up keeping Lolrier and bringing in a make do signing in the ordinary Doherty. This kind of transfer activity just treads water at best.
Ted has a thing about Upamecano. Which is fair enough, he's a good player. Makes no difference banging on about it on here though. The club will sign whoever the club signs, and if United or Liverpool or City go for him then Spurs likely can't compete on wages.

My two favourite footballing terms...
Spurs and Jose have to get the balance right. Most of the time you are going to concede if you sit back for 80 minutes after you take the lead.
Jose is right to make you a counter attacking team but he has to find a slight compromise so you are not pinned back so much.
