Honestly Arteta (if he goes right now) would leave the club in a much better place than he found it
The squad and dressing room would be a dream for a lot of coaches to come into

Let us sack manager after manager pls. Everyone of these will have their new ideas and people going to demand signing after signing. Let the circus begin.

If you can see something isn't working, why would you stick with it?
Arteta has had more time than emery, spent more money than emery and survived worse runs of form than emery, who we all saw wasn't good enough. so wy keep arteta? it's looking increasingly stupid to keep him on as manager by any means necessary.
At this point it's more about Arteta than the age profile of the team - this is after all the first time we've had a young side since mid-period Wenger.
Until KSE lose faith in Arteta being able to grow and adapt with experience, I doubt they'll pull the trigger.
Fully expect him to be backed this summer.
However, like Crouch, I think things will have to be significantly better come next Oct/Nov, or the pressure will mount again.
Emery is a great coach but wasnt the guy to fix the club

Were operating on a 30m deficit each season with the view of being a CL club again
Next season is his last chance and we've seen what an early change can do

Are you sure they will trust him to spend another £150m? Last summer you could reasonably argue that he had not been backed. But if spending more money than anyone else gets you nowhere?

Because I could see real progress before the Palace game.
We are collapsing now because we have no answer to two important players being injured and our of the season.
Arteta manage to get out the players that really disturb the team.
It was clear to me that we need more depths in every position.
Do you really think it is enough to buy one striker in the summer and being done with it?
Liverpool has got 6 strikers alone to chose from.
Im genuinely amazed people are still backing Arteta. then again its probably just stubbornness at not wanting to show they were wrong about him. sad really.

It's frightening that 70+ million was on ONE player - give that 250 million to ANY other team in the PL - and they would be looking for top 4. Imagine what Leeds or Brentford could do with that budget - and we are about to see what the toons can do
