Keeper should be taking control of that , either coming to claim it or shouting at the defender to hoof it clear

Yes an error by Saliba cant understand why he was trying to shelter it out of play , but the keeper had the best view of the situation and he should have either come for the ball or shouted Saliba to clear it.

Liverpool no way will play that bad again in the 2nd half. They will be motivated because they didn't play great and went in equal still. Liverpool will win this now

Think both could have done better to be honest? I'd have wanted my keeper to smother that though, Saliba could have also just hoofed it as well

They were both at fault. A decent keeper would’ve claimed the ball.

A decisive CB would clear the ball with ease.

Keeper is always the boss in that sort of situation and should take control either coming for the ball himself or shouting at the defender to clear it. Total lack of communication. For me Raya may be better in his distribution but Ramsdale is far and away the better shot stopper , better at crosses and more vocal with his defenders, Raya is too quiet , look closely at the replay and you will see that he doesn't shout or give any orders at all.
