Liverpool are burnt out, rosso. Same thing happened with Dortmund when Klopp ran them into the ground for six years.

Rogue

We didn’t park the bus, we were cautious because this is a huge game. With hindsight it’s easy to say we should have done better but pretty much most United fans including myself said we’d be delighted with a point and I still am even though we did have chances to win today.

Fair enough bad choice of words. Cautious yes.

Im happy with a point myself key was not losing and just hanging in right now

Thiago who hasn’t really done much for Liverpool and Wijnaldum who they were happy to leave in the summer. Just because Liverpool’s midfield dont create like other midfields for doesn’t mean it’s not important to the running of the team.

I think this is very likely part of their problem.

Parked the bus.

Some people really don’t understand the game, do they?

They played agaist two cm as cb and couldnt score as they parked the bus for the first 60 mins

If you knew anything about your own clubs history, that's just what Liverpool did in Europe for years, took the sting out the game, then turned the screw.

Klopp out-thought and out-fought by The PE Teacher
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Did the PE teacher forget to tell his team to turn the screw?

No. We are missing 3 cbs and our midfield pairing as a result. Simple stuff. Also jota injured

They’ve smashed teams repeatedly the last two seasons with their midfield doing nothing much more than winning the ball.

They did that today efficiently enough.

Switch Henderson for Shaqiri and put Matip or VVD in there at the back, and nothing would have been any different today.

Why did Klopp start the season with only 3 cbs when 2 of them are known sicknotes?

Jota was your biggest miss today.

Your defence actually dealt with us very well, and your midfield did the job it more or less always does.

Yeah it's too easy to say it's burnout. Having Jota back should freshen us up again.

rosso, the lack of rotation hasn’t helped. Look at how many games their front three have played under Klopp. They’re clearly knackered.

I’m sure there’s a lot of truth in Klopp’s style taking its toll on the squad like with Dortmund but don’t forget this is a strange season and no team has really been able to prepare the way they’d hoped.

I’m pretty sure if they can get their injured players back and prepare for a season like most teams plan to then they will be a very strong side again. I really don’t think this is the end or decline of Klopps Liverpool however much I’d love that to be the case.

Fabinho might have made a difference, because it’d have meant Thiago spending more time in areas he can do more damage in. Prior to Thiago’s arrival, you weren’t creating shiiiiit through the middle though, which makes the point rather moot.

Henderson would have made fack all difference.

Course its not. We have been hit by injuries, thats football. We won our CL group and are currently only 3/4 pts off top.

Rosso

I’m pretty sure if you replaced Saquiri with Henderson, Wijnaldum with Fabino, Henderson with VVD and Fabino with Gomez/Matip you’d be seeing a very different Liverpool side both in performance and form.
