Whilst I agree, he needs to bat for the team and the situation we are in. Not play shots like that. Cant shot to play.

I'd possibly go as far as to say that the top order batsmen are the worst iv ever seen from an England test match squad, apart from Root.

Why oh why cant be bat!

I’m pretty sure anyone on here couldn’t have done any worse than bairstow has this series, it’s pretty much impossible to have..

Oh I agree completely but you just knew yesterday when he was thundering in when bowling that he was absolutely knackered. It must be so frustrating watching the top order fail again. I mean it is for us as fans

The likes of Crawley and Bairstow stand with their bat in the air.. against SPINNERS. you need to be able to get forward and suffocate the spin..Its no wonder they get bowled so much and lbw..
Bairstow gets bowled all the time because he has such a high back lift.
