If we can get any points out of this I'd be happy!

will we out foxed again or will we leed the way?

this was why the newcastle result was maybe more important than a single result.

Dont expet anything from this game so having those points and a win in the bag is a very good thing

Agree. Kind of a free hit. Will take a point. Think we'll draw 2-2.

I hope Raphina and Rodrigo can get something going against them but think they might have too much for us and could lose by a couple.

Highland, looks who's been following your thread...

LAWRO'S PREDICTION
Leicester completely dismantled Leeds when they met at Elland Road in November but the difference this time is that Foxes striker Jamie Vardy is out injured.

Vardy was instrumental in the Foxes' first two goals that day, and scored their third one himself. Without him, it should be a lot closer.

Leeds got a badly needed win over Newcastle in midweek to get back on track after three straight defeats, and they are a dangerous side when their tails are up.

Prediction: 1-2

I don't know what to make of this one. Last week, we stuttered to a 2-1 away win on Tyneside against a poor Newcastle team, and yet that same Newcastle team got a deserved 2-0 win at Everton.
This week, there is no excuse for nerves. We can relax and play our game; regardless of the result, we will be miles ahead of the bottom 3. Leicester are without Vardy, but the threat from Barnes, Maddison, Under and Tielemans is immense. Can our back four deal with them more efficiently this time around? Ayling and Coops got turned pretty easily by St Maximin last week. However, Struijk is starting to shine, and we do have KP in for this one.
We also have Rodrigo and Raph and with these two on the pitch, we are a threat at any time. If Bamford is in the mood, I expect to see a very different scoreline.
I can't see us containing them for 90 minutes, but we haven't seen the best of our frontline yet either.
I am going for another wonderful match, the kind we have brought to so many grounds this season, and to come back with a well-deserved point. 2-2, Bamford and Raph to do the honours.

deffinate free hit, we are no expected to beat any of the so called title challengers a point would be awesome as long as we show up, do what we know we can do, put on another full on show for the baying public

‘Bout time Highland!😁

Morning all! Right, without Vardy (unless Leicester are playing us all), I think we’ve got a chance. I’m going for 1-3 with Paddy, Captain Coops and Raphina for us👍😁💙🏆

Got a good feeling about this one - mainly due to Vardy being unavailable - Our vulnerability to counter attack due to over high pressing was so evident last time we played them and Vardy is probably the best in the PL at exploiting it.

Think we will get at least a point today.

0-2 today we win one we're not supposed to.

First priority is to see a better performance than we have the last couple of league games. It’s a game that we could play at our best and lose because of the nature of our styles. We play high risk football which we need to and they are so clinical on the counter to mistakes.

In essence that was the game last time. We made too many mistakes. But we did create enough, just didn’t take them.

We should be targeting a win. And I think we could do it with a bit more luck. We don’t have a chance if we play like we did against Newcastle though and a lose with a decent performance will not be the end of the world against a side better than us.

What I would really like to see is some tweaks that make us better against the press. More press resistant. Dropping Alioski from full back will help but also seeing Klich/Rodrigo coming deeper to offer more options. When Klich & Pablo were at their best they would often come alongside Phillips and sometimes deeper to build. Haven’t seen enough of that this season.

I think Man City was the best example of Klich changing the game by doing after the first 20 minutes.

Fine? That would be an amazing achievement!

We will need to be at the top of our game. But if we can return top form then it’s achievable.

Meslier (GK), Ayling, Struijk, Cooper (C), Alioski, Phillips, Dallas, Harrison, Rodrigo, Raphinha, Bamford

Subs: Casilla (GK), Davis, Cresswell, Klich, Shackleton, Costa, Roberts, Hernandez, Poveda

I would have brought Klich into the side for Alioski.

Looking forward to seeing who comes out on top between Phillips & Maddison. Will be a huge factor in the result.

I’ll be very surprised if we get anything out of this game.
Hope I’m wrong.
