I don't mind the odd wum about the subject or debate for debates sake, where I start drawing the line is.

A. Truly believe it
B. Truly believe it and knowing how they feel about their club still rant and rave about it to people they call friends or in some cases even family
C. Rants full of bitterness and bile

I would not talk to these folk in the pub, work and they wouldn't be welcome in my home so the filter button works just like the option of telling someone to feck off and sit at their own table.

It's far better for my mental health overall.

Stevie, the answer is the same reason whe Rangers finally got to play in Europe they were granted the country coefficient despite not having any 5yr record that would merit it.

Also why the ‘points’ accumulated by Gretna in Europe contributed to the country coefficient long after they were gone.

A more pertinent question for you is if Rangers is the same club then why were debenture holders stuffed out of the product they bought from the club?

Again you are missing the point entirely...the country coefficient is only applied for the share of revenue criteria, if it is higher than the clubs own accumulated coefficient points tally

If Rangers are a different club, their coefficient points tally, at this moment in time should not be 30.750, it should only be 17.250. 13.5 gained from 10/11 and 11/12 are being added to Rangers own tally aswell as being used for the country coefficient. This is only happening because Rangers are being deemed the same club by UEFA. To argue against that is simply denying a clear and obvious fact

As for you point about the debenture holders, these were with the oldco, and I'm pretty sure the liquidators of oldco used a legal loophole where they only had to payout to anyone who had intimated a claim, and all future claims were time-barred under Scots Law, so it's only if a claim was intimated before this point that a payout was received...I'm no expert on these things by any means but that's my understanding

BDO have a 'bondholder' section in their list of creditors.

Interestingly BDO have being paying pence in the pound rates to some creditors already.

They also say that they are on the right track with HMRC in terms of negotiating too.

That coupled with HMRC chasing the individuals for tax does mean at least they are getting something back.

Because they are a creditor of the old company under the law.

If the newco entity did that then all the remaining creditors would have a reasonable case to be treated exactly the same.

some find it hard to take being a new club and will cling to any evidence to say they are not.

Any Scottish club entering Europe for the first time this season would be ranked for share of revenue using the 9.155 country total, UNLESS they bettered that figure with their own results

Rangers own personal points tally is made up of the results garnered by the club since 2010....EVERY result since 2010. The 9.155 is not added at all, as the points Rangers have gained is greater than that figure.

If Rangers were a new club in 2012, and UEFA classed them as a new club, their points tally would be 17.250 ie the points they have garnered since 17/18...again, the 9.155 country coefficient ISNT applied.

Rangers points tally is 30.750, as it is greater than 9.155, and it is that figure because ALL results from 2010 add up to that total

No club is being penalised at all by Rangers results from 10/11 and 11/12 being added to their OWN points tally
