Emery is far superior to Arteta.
Wenger was better than both of them, even in his final years
Arteta premier league record is absolutely abysmal

Arsenal's standards have clearly dropped.
Brendan Rodgers would turn the club on its head and for the better. Not sure how they prize him away from Leicester at the moment mind.
Emery most likely better manager due to his experience. But that’s not to say he was ever going to work here. We looked a mess under Emery, and I doubt we’d be any better now had we stuck with him, just seemed he was never fitted here. Arteta has us looking more organised, but it’s been at the cost the attack it seems. Arteta can’t seem to find an answer to sorting the attack, and Emery couldn’t figure out the defence. Both have flaws. Arteta has had tricky situations to deal with, but I’ll be worried if he still can’t get us more consistent in attack by the end of the season
Emery has more experience and got better results for us but even so he never felt like an Arsenal manager or someone that could become a top manager whereas Arteta does.
I think Arteta deserves a break.
Emery was still managing a 3rd tier Spanish side at this point in his career.

Arteta. Emery bottled a relatively easy 4th place finish and lost the EL final in a pitiful manner to a Chelsea side that had far less to play for than us. Arteta on the other hand won an FA Cup Final and got Auba to sign a new contract which were the key results we needed at the time.
Despite what's happened earlier this season, Arteta seems like he has more fight in him than Emery, and has developing a team that I think has a higher ceiling than anywhere Emery could have taken us.
Plus tactically and regarding communication, Arteta seems superior to Emery. Players didn't seem to understand Emery and he lost the dressing room fairly quickly. Arteta, for now at least, has the players playing for him and has shown himself to be decisive in the transfer window both with incomings (Partey / Odegaard) and outgoings (Ozil/Mustafi/Kola/Sokratis).
He doesn't have he players playing for him, we are so sloppy
With the rebuild job that needs doing, I’d rather Arteta was guiding us through it than Emery. Not saying Arteta is best candidate for the job necessarily, but of the 2 I feel more confident in Arteta as things stand
Arteta seems to be the better boolsheeter in the eyes of the board.
His major minus is him insisting on Willian
People have a completely unfounded faith in Arteta. Where's the evidence of his capabilities? Seems like nothing but gut feelings
Far little context in your article. We started well under Emery but then he lost his way, we were getting destroyed by some teams . This is clearly a 5 yr plan with Arteta , I’m still not fully sold on him but I can see the team performance wise are improving, ok results wise it’s not looking great but that Wolves game especially the first half was an indication of how we can dominate a game. I’m giving him the summer to see who else he brings in and ships out.
Arteta is part of a project that will take a number of years. Sack him now and that project will have to restart with the new manager. When you are conducting a complete overhaul of the squad we will be inconsistent. We will probably had to get worse before we got better.
This window in the summer is vitally important as I believe it is the window that will finally confirm the squad is Artetas and not emery’s or Wengers.
Personally I have faith in Arteta and will give him another season. I’ve seen enough from him to believe he can be a top manager. We just need to show some patience and accept that in the short term there will be some pain.
I believe sacking him will send us backwards cause this 3 year project will have to start again. We will be in the same position in 12 months debating whether the next manager should go because ultimately while we change squads and playing styles we will go through bad patches.
We just need to be resilient and patient and I believe Arteta will come good.
If a few months into next season we are performing as bad as we have this season then maybe it will prove the Arteta out fans right.
While there are many people who are generally concerned about Arteta as our manager, I just feel there are too many with an agenda. Many seem to me to be desperate for Arsenal to lose just so they can moan at Arteta and so they can say I told you so. These same fans go missing when we win and find it impossible to even say Arteta did a good job during that game. You can want a manager out and give said manager credit where credit is due when they win. I think these fans are like this because either they were Wenger fans and just want to prove that we can’t survive with Arsenal, or they like the manager merry go round where they can talk about sacking and hiring managers all the time or they are entitled fans who believe we shouldn’t have 1 bad patch of form that all teams go through every season.
I just hope we learn as a fan base to be more patient
Out of the 15 games left I expect us to lose at least 8
I think we will finish between 10th-14th
Not expecting any European football next season
Expecting Benfica to win
This process is a far cry from the blatant lies the fanbase were told about competing with Bayern Munich

Agree.with this. I'm giving Arteta until midway through next season at least.
We will probably had to get worse before we got better.

What if we don't get better? Because at least in terms of points accumulated, we certainly don't look like it.
I don't know if Arteta can turn this around, you don't know either if he can because Arteta himself doesn't know because lack of track records. This is literally his first senior management job so it could go in either direction and no one knows.
To me, this season is already a write-off so I'm not too bother. However, my biggest worry is that if he can't turn this around and at some stages, we need to pull the trigger, the longer we wait, the more the squad will be full of "Arteta" players, which is fair enough, hard to implement new playing and/or philosophy with players that don't suit you. But those new players, might not be the next manager taste neither so are we just gonna have a full change in squad every 2 seasons?
Emery brought Guendo, Torreira and Saliba. Players you could argue are not in Arteta top priority.
The next manager (if there is one) will already have to deal with the like of Willian, Cedric and Holding since he has been given a new contract. Plus a few more that could be added in the summer.
So when and how do you stop the bleeding?
