I told you there is corruption in football.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
How many expected bungs in this league?
Bruno is the second coming of Rooney with that shin volley.
He’s a different kind of footballer now. The younger Rashy was lithe and busy and tricky. This one is a powerful, athletic beast.
The now Rashy is a product of the modern game. Unfortunately, the old Rashy would probably be bullied out of games in even the likes of the Italian league.
-----------------------------------------
He's obviously a better player now but he's not quite as good on the ball as he was at youth level. We've seen glimpses of the kind of skill he showed regularly when he was younger but I think he's a worse dribbler now and he's not quite as secure in possession.

Cannot trust this defense not to fack up again
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Exactly
But moreso I don't trust the "team"
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I don't trust the coaches
No trust all round then
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Sheite situation all round
Our squad has remnants of so many different regimes that it needs an overhaul by one manager over a number of transfer windows
Like Ole or not he is shipping out deadwood
So the question is do we endure this sheite for the better long term good or bite the bullet again and hope the next manager can the most of this fractured (quality and balance wise) squad?
Maguires had a couple disallowed for breathing on defenders. By that standard it has to be a foul

Well yeah, he is pushing Lindelof's face with his hand.
Would be pretty weird to deny its a foul (step forward Mr Hasselbaink...)
Michelle Lee on Astro Sports has it.
Could be a foul but still crap defending

Even if we win 5-1 it will not hide the fact we are sheite as a team. Moments from individuals hoodwinks simpletons into thinking we are great
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I'm never sure why some fans watching the same game not only come to different conclusions, but are convinced they are right and the other side deluded. Where does this certainty come from?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Ignore plumpy. His Mrs clearly didn't nosh him off today so he's in a foul mood.
i assume there is plenty of frothing on the main football thread, what with bruno's shot coming from the penalty spot

[OptaJoe] 38 - Since his Premier League debut for Manchester United in February 2020, only Lionel Messi and Robert Lewandowski (both 44) have been directly involved in more goals in Europe's big-five leagues than Bruno Fernandes (38 - 22 goals, 16 assists). Special.
Gary Neville is like the worst analyser of football games. I sometimes wonder if he watches different games as he says the complete opposite to what is happening.

The refs are just shyyte and being protected by the other refs on VAR.
That, and some of them subconsciously get caught up in the fairytale story of the lowly club beating the high flyers and give little decisions in their favour IMO

The current rashford is a symptom of the coache and setup. He and his team mates haven't been trained to pass and move in a structured way as a unit. Instead they are just given the ball and told to do something. Rashford under Klopp or Pep would have been top 5 player in the world by now.
