While FSG have done a great job but had the infrastructure to spend a lot more money without leaving themselves so thin due to the vast revenue Liverpool have had over us until recently

Is GLC really “very good” ? He went from an average team in Spain to an average team in England. He’s never fit and looks like a 6/10 player to me in 90% of the games he plays. I can’t imagine any decent team (Bigger/than better than Spurs) would be interested in any of our players other than Reggie, Son, PEH & Kane

Gio was great last season when we were really bad, people got caught up in goals and assists too much but he was playing a lot deeper for that. Need to get him in the side as a 10 with Ndombele and Hojbjerg

For the record I am ENIC IN but just playing devils advocate. Bottom line with ENIC is they are the English National Investment Company.

I still remember when David Buchler(anyone else remember him?) who was Levy's mouthpiece was on sky sports after ENIC took over, outlined their plans to get us into the champions league within 5 years. This was in 2001. There was no talk of winning trophies unlike with FSG who said they wanted trophies from day 1.

There’s no doubt about it, we are doing s***. I was a strong Jose advocate and still would love him to turn this around, but facts are this last 2 months have been a shambles. We have gone from top of the league to 9th, plus out the Fa cup. Just a shambles. He’s got a long way to turn this around.

Hmm.....Son and Kane are great..... The rest... not so much..... I’m always amazed how great Spurs fans think our players are until they actually play..... then the reality kicks in..... I watched City and Liverpool play the last 2 nights...... They are great teams with great players..... I dont feel the same watching Spurs....... We are great at hype and bullshlt..... It’s like all those fans who claim we miss Lamela & GLC when they are out for long periods until they come back and we remember they are still shlt, its just that they were injured for so long we forgot . We are currently doing the same with Dele & Bale

I have said King Jose's (sorry not sorry Ace couldn't resist) style is boring but I am prepared to accept it so long as it yeilds results and hopefully a trophy. I am also willing to give him this and next season so bring in better players.

Since he has brought in Moura and Lamela into the side I have noticed a change in style. The FA cup exit and Man City results were dissapointing but the players have had their biggest rest in weeks this week so I am hoping for results and performances to pick up from here onwards.

ENIC have been in charge for 20 years and yielded one league cup. If that fact alone is not creditable enough for you to accept why some people want ENIC out then fair enough. Fans don't care about ticket prices 10 or 20 years ago. They care about them now. You asked why do people want ENIC out? Under Poch they could be justified as we had CL football. How can you charge the same or more for a lesser product in the ropey league?

I’m not really surprised you’ve missed the points so frequently. To spell it out for you:

* the top 5 richest clubs have had a monopoly on trophies over the past 20 years. We are only now in a position where not winning a trophy is deemed a failure as we can only now financially compete.
* you seem to be continually shifting the goalposts here - ticket prices for 2 years (of which most isn’t applicable anyway due to COVID) are applicable for success over 20 years is ridiculous. Ticket prices replicate the current day reality - not if a team won an intertoto cup or not.
* why are you discussing Europa league football as if fans have been attending games? Pre-COVID when thee prices were a thing we were in the CL which your manager failed to achieve

This. We ain’t that great. Son and Kane aside, our team are not all that. That being said, we should be better than 9th. Ndombele, Hojberg and Reguilon are the 3 only really worth mentioning. Just goes to show how poor we are, where 5 players are of worth mentioning. The others are pretty much bang average
