given that you've taken 8 points from his 9 starts, you should thank richarlison for saving you from relegation

Thiago easily. Not even close. The guy was hyped up so much to improve Liverpool but he's done nothing.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Except hes not had the team to improve, partnerships all over it change each week with injuries etc? Hes had his own injuries n cost 25m hardly a disappointment.

Im certainly not disappointed, hes class. Just not working in a team where a lot of things arent working and ravaged by injury.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So the same as this Chelsea side added to the fact that we had an amateur manager for half the season.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What, Frank didn't even get paid ?

Agree with Thiago bit since back from that injury hes not fitted in and Klopps not changed it, could try him further up like Spain use him.

Werner i wanted us to sign still wouldnt be disappointed if we did think he will come good.

Vdb is a gd player, is it all his fault? Seems to me ogs doesnt trust him or give him enough chances?

So outside these? Brewster? Know hes young but sill expeced him to get more chances and do better, but then again Sheffield have become a lot worse at the same time compared to previous season.

Havertz worse form than Werner imo.

Doherty rated him at wolves looks sheite at spurs

Lo celso lot of money not done anything of note?

Silva lot of money doesnt look like he has anything that special about him no outstanding attribute or quality, hes young. But so is Neto and he looks twice the olayer.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
You mean the Lo Celso that was signed last season being the most disappointing signing this season?

For the fee n hype has to be havertz no.1 for me. He looked some talent in Germany, really struggled here though. Hes got a lot of time on his side though being so young. But i think we all expected a lot more given what he was doing at leverkusen.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Covid + injuries = wait until end of season
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No only thiago's injuries matter, Havertz can't have that excuse.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well do they matter or don't they Wahl ?

so he hasn’t been a massive disappointment then?

For me it's Hakim Ziyech. Lovely footballer and should have had all the attributes to do very well in the PL, but just hasn't got going.

He had good games in a fully fit team, and poor to average games in an injury ravaged team. So when we're actually able to field something close to resembling our first team, I'll judge him then.

What good games has he had?

I remember him playing well against Everton at the start of the season. Can’t think of a single good performance since. Certainly not for a player of his supposed quality

.....

You should be judging him when the going gets tough not when things are all hunky dory.

You really are one of the most stupid Liverpool fans on here. And you are up against some stiff competition.

Thiago has started 9 games because of injury and subbed in 3.

He was the best player on the pitch in 2 of those 12 games (Chelsea away and United at home).

The team isn’t performing but people are being silly with some of their shouts. It’s desperate.

It’s his first season in the league with a serious injury to contend with.

Anyone with an ounce of sense which precludes many ja606 posters will understand he’s still finding his way.

Game against Chelsea he came on second half and ran the show.

Think he will take a few months to really get going and into his stride.
The whole Liverpool side has been disappointing, can’t exactly pick out Thiago after said injury and say it’s all him

what planet are some people on?

silly ja606 posters, judging the disappointing signing of the season in the season in which they were signed

posted on 27/2/21

We can pick out Thiago because the OP is about new signings which have disappointed and by your own admission he has been a disappointment.

Is Thiago gonna be the next Keita? A massive flop that will never be branded a flop because he is always injured?

posted on 27/2/21

Should I be factoring in players finding their way when the whole point of the question is players who are all going to be adapting to new circumstances?

Thiago is quality. Said at the time that I don't think you will see the best of him because of the way you play not being conducive to Thiago's game, but regardless he has disappointed. Yes, Liverpool are having it tough generally, but I would have thought, when signing someone like Thiago, you'd want someone who can help you push on even when things aren't going well. That hasnt been the case. That isn't me calling him a flop. Flop and disappointment not synonymous.

Thiago definitely.

You'd think a supposedly world class player may be able to help an injury ravaged team get results rather than be useless.
