I not sure why me feeling that people who vote in support of those policies are bad people has people so triggered not exactly 'out there' is it.

Things like Windrush, under funding the NHS and austerity were not accidents. They're a direct result of Governmemt policy. Personally I would vote for those kind of people because I think they're bad. Like you've got to he a piece of sh!t to support that haven't you, in my opinion.

As I say, just have the decency to admit that they're the things you want.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Fair enough, but I won't take lessons on conscience by the guy who supports the bombing of Iraqi civilians. You voted for Labour right? That's how it works.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
And the government that oversaw the worst example of corruption throughout the financial sector that led to a global financial crisis which we all had to pay for.

Did Labour voters vote for that and are they therefore scvm?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Pretty sure Labour weren’t responsible for the Sub Prime mortgage scandal in America that kicked the whole thing off, and if you want to blame anyone for the deregulation of the markets, look no further than the milk snatcher.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I think the point more is that no one voted for corruption, deregulation and a financial crash did they. It's a silly and desperate comparison.

David Lammy is probably the best MP this f*cking country has, intelligent, passionate and never afraid to speak truth to power. Anybody that calls Jacob Rees Mogg a Na zi is fine by me.

As for the school in Pimlico I’m delighted to see the kids stand up for themselves and against the institutional and systemic racism in this country, they inspire a glimmer of hope for our future and the next generation.
------------------
This is why we will never see a Labour government in the next twenty years minimum.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

It's genuinely sad. The country needs a decent oppo, they are so out of touch with the rest of the country.

Even with regular voters they're nowhere to be seen and I can guarantee that most people that haven't voted will now vote Tory just to keep these lunatics at bay. Incidents like this at Pimlico, the BLM fanatics, the incident with Dawn Butler with the police, even going back to the comments made by Naz Shah over the grooming gangs that Labour didn't want to go near. All these stay in the mind of the public consciousness when it comes to the ballot box. They're not values that the everyday person lives there life by. It's a sickness. A sickness that will only effect all of us by having the same government and ideas for the next 20 plus years.

Labour need to get out of the race industry and start being serious.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

If people do that it's a massive cop out. Scvm Tory voters should just have the balls and decency to say;

I WANT the NHS to be underfunded
I WANT our schools to be underfunded
I WANT nurses to pay for their own training
I WANT austerity
I WANT the wealthy to avoid paying tax
----------------------------------------------------------------------
scvm Tory voters? You’re talking about the majority of the country you idiot.

Oh and why did we get austerity measures? Oh yeah boom and bust policies from Labour.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

If you vote Tory you're a piece of sh!t and that's because they've voted FOR all those things.

Just my opinion.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I'm so glad you hate me. If I'm hated by such brain dead morons with opinions such as yours I am doing well in life.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You’re “taking it well” too I see 😂
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Sat Nav doesn't even know who he's replying to.

What a genius
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It was obviously a dig about Robbing in reply to me. Are you dumb?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
If I was dumb I'd be a right winger, so no, I'm not dumb.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
If that were the case, judging by the sheit you post you should be a Grand Wizard of the KKK.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
But to be grand wizard you have to be pure white, which I am not.

Another genius comment from another genius right winger.

Back to the OP - has there been any criticism of the data provided in the report? Or is it just ad hominem rhetoric, vague assertions of it excusing racism blah blah blah.

I’d happily read an article from one of these academics dispelling the data, you know....academically.

But on a serious note

https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/conservative-and-liberal-brains-might-have-some-real-differences/

On the whole, the research shows, conservatives desire security, predictability and authority more than liberals do, and liberals are more comfortable with novelty, nuance and complexity. If you had put Buckley and Vidal in a magnetic resonance imaging machine and presented them with identical images, you would likely have seen differences in their brain, especially in the areas that process social and emotional information. The volume of gray matter, or neural cell bodies, making up the anterior cingulate cortex, an area that helps detect errors and resolve conflicts, tends to be larger in liberals. And the amygdala, which is important for regulating emotions and evaluating threats, is larger in conservatives.

Mamba, if you're interested in the psychology and biology of political leanings...

There is a growing body of evidence that libertarians rank higher in IQ scores than both liberals and conservatives. What you might call a Republican or Conservative is actually a blend of two different types of voters - social conservatives and economic conservatives. The social conservative types do indeed rank lower on intelligence but that's offset by the higher intelligence economic conservative types (or what we might call libertarian, small government types). And when I say higher intelligence that covers cognition, abstract reasoning and verbal intelligence.

I would humbly suggest that the thick right-wingers on this site that you claim to possess lower intelligence on average, are actually mostly libertarians, and probably slightly smarter than you on average.

I've long maintained that it doesn't matter how intelligent you are, everyone's voice needs to be heard because a) the wisdom of crowds is useful b) society needs to work for everyone and therefore needs everyone's input c) it's possible to be too smart for your own good.

I wouldn't go as far as saying that stupid or un-learned people should be dictating the minutiae of policy, but they definitely should be involved in deciding the direction we're headed in.

It's amusing though when people try to use scientific studies to lord their intelligence over others

It depends how you measure intelligence. I can't remember exactly what is in an IQ test but I imagine it tests more for logical intelligence, and not so much for interpersonal intelligence. What makes sense to me is for intelligent right wingers to have high levels of logical intelligence but lower interpersonal intelligence (empathy etc.) Where as for intelligent left wingers, it is the other way around. Higher interpersonal intelligence.

With regards to stupid people all needing their voices heard, this is true, but the issue is it takes one smart person to manipulate a mass group of stupid people through lies (mainly). That's when it is dangerous. It is not necessarily the individual stupid person's voice that is being heard. It is the intelligent person through these individuals, who are being manipulated en masse.

It is all social media's fault anyway.
