Well I think that has helped shape your views. I’m no fan of the MET either but I think if you had grown up in another area of the country you would notice that it’s much more of a ‘class’ thing than race.

Also, you ignore my initial and core argument which involves right and left or lefties vs conservatives. I didn't really expound on those or go into detail or the respective sub branches of right and left, or at least I didn't intend to. It's a broad argument. Perhaps to simplify it one can simply ask; left vs right, who is thicker?

Just answer that question as I am not referring to subgroups. There are stupid and intelligent people on both sides but one more than the other both ways. Being a rightie doesn't mean you're stupid but being stupid makes it more likely that you espouse rightie views.

Another issue I can't get my head around is claiming an issue is a class issue rather than a race issue.

Mainly because the two issues are inherently linked in modern society. I've spoken before about how wealth determines class. Of you are hamstrung economically and socially through racism or neglect by the govt or any other reason then you more likely end up being lower class.

So victims of racism and it's forms like structural racism are disproportionately in the lower class as a consequence thereof. You can argue whether structural racism exists but if it exists then it's effects cannot be argued. One of which is that it's victims will be more likely lower class and it's beneficiaries will be more likely higher class.

Therefore racism and class are inseparable and could easily confuse someone. Blaming some issues on class instead of racism is just going round in circles.

You're overthinking things. There is a large proportion of people which would be deemed right wing, who do not know what the word "economy" means. They are simply right wing because they are told that lots of brown people are coming across the channel to bomb them at some point. It's like how religion uses hell to get stupid people on board through fear.

I don't care what kind of right wing a person is. For this discussion, all that matters is that they are right wing.

If you want to do subbranches then you must compare similar ends of the scale. Like right wing libertarians vs left wing libertarians.

As I said earlier I would wager that thicker people are more attracted to right wing libertarianism than left wing libertarianism.
