Flick is taking the Germany job, its why he asked to leave Bayern.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Nothing has been decided yet with the German team, though Flick was the fav.
But recently this link has gone cold too...
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Because the German FA are refusing to pay any compensation for Flick but it looks like a friendly will be staged between Germany and Bayern Munich with the proceeds going to Bayern Munich as compensation for Flick.

With limited crowds in Germany I suspect, they'll raise practically just enough for the golden hand shake

I am guessing the primary questions being asked are what is Spursy? And how you do fix it?
In 10 words or less!
And the trick question is ;
It is 65th minute during a crucial game, do you
A) Bring on Sissoko
B) Sod this, I am going out all guns blazing get Dele and Bale on?
🤣
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yes that was very poor from Mason bringing on Sissoko, as was starting Winks, but he is a rookie, so gets a free pass with me. He has been chucked in at the deep end.
Feels like Levy is taking his transfer approach with this next appointment. Doesn't have a clear candidate in mind. Wanted JN but deep knew he was too good for us.
The old scattergun has been loaded and sprayed everywhere.
I still hope it is Ten Hag but what if Poch fails to progress to the CL final and he comes 2nd in Lique 1?
A sackable offence....?
Looks like Levy sacked him without having a viable candidate in mind. Either that or Flick leaving has really screwed us.
Either way, looks silly to have chucked Mou before the final.
The list of candidates remaining is not encouraging.
(as the rumour is that Erik ten Hag is now out of the running)
really underwhelming appointment
underwhelming ones at spurs usually turn out to be the best though

No he has been around for ages and would be regarded as a top ITK on SC. But he is the only one to poo poo the links TEH. Many on there believe him when he gives info.
As always with any ITK, a pinch of salt and all that..
I was excited if we got Naggelsmann or Rodgers. They are top level managers who could have really got us going.
Now they are out of the mix whoever we get in is a gamble. Potter and Ten Hag would be my preference from here. Personally would rather Potter, but Ten Hag seems a sensible option.
The Ajax team we played were incredible. Individually none of those star men have done particularly well since leaving so I think the manager must take a fair bit of credit there.
At least he has an attacking, possession based philosophy so we will at least be worth watching.

Agree with all of this. I also don't blame Rogers for staying put.
Ten Hag is a terrific manager and at the moment our best manager in the Netherlands. Tactically the best of all the current dutch managers and dominated us in both games this year.
Having saying that he needs an Overmars type as technical director who knows which players need to be recruited for his style.

Sometimes supporters get a bit to hyped up over managerial appointments. Yes managers obviously have a fair bit of input to the running of the club, and the overseeing of players. But a manager can only do so much. It is the players out on the pitch and not the manager, so no matter how good or bad a manager is, the bottom line is if you haven`t got good players, then you aint going to be doing a lot.
Good players with me should always come before a good manager.
