What a strange article. Unless this is just personal practice for a career in sports journalism I fail to see it brings to a football forum. Where's the debate? We're playing Wolves. Big deal.

What a strange post. Unless this is just personal practice for a career as a critic, I fail to see what it brings to a football forum. Where's the debate? You don't care much for an article. Big deal.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It's just unusual for a football forum to have an article appear that's completely devoid of opinion. It reads like it's been lifted from a football programme. I mean, what does the OP want us to do with this sentence, for example....
"Nuno will not have the pleasure of sharing a glass of wine with friend and compatriot José Mourinho since Spurs dispensed with his services on the 19th April."
We all know he's been sacked. It reads like the poster is delivering information we've yet to hear but we have. All of it. It tells us nothing. Look, if it's a kid interested in football journalism I get it as a form of practice, but if it's an adult with a completely different career then it's just a really bizarrely structured article. It has a grandiose feel with nothing in the way of substance or prompting that would allow any reader to form any kind of debate. It's nothing more than a reminder that a fixture is on.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Certain irony in you complaining about something having a grandiose feel with nothing in the way of substance.
Its an article for Wolves fans to discuss stuff pre-game and opposition fans to engage in if they want. If you don't like it, you don't have to post.
fridgeboy I write a match preview for every game we because as Tamwolf quite correctly says, it is posted on the Wolves board for Wolves fans to speculate on the forthcoming game. Wolves fans on here like it and I only include it on the opposition board out of courtesy. As I am currently in the ICU in Palma hospital, Mallorca, so the fact that you find my writing style grandiose worries me not one bit. I'm really sorry if I have caused you to waste 40 seconds of your precious life reading my vacuous drivel and I promise never to pollute your precious board with it again. Now why don't you just fack off there's a good chap

Gem lad, stop beating bout the bush and tell him straight.
Glad that Nuno has gone the kid route to finish the season as that has at least made the games interesting again rather than the turgid five at the back grind out it looked like we may witness a few games ago.
Haven't seen it mentioned so maybe it isn't the case but you would have thought our line up the other day is possibly the youngest we have ever put out in the top flight. Five were 21 or less. Three teenagers.
Quite possibly the youngest side put out by any top flight team.
Have just watched the extended highlights and I have to admit that I'm warming to MGW after being one of his fiercest critics.
Surely can't be far off can it gem. Moutinho ruined it a bit though
Will try and watch the second half sometime this week. MGW has generally been disappointing but with the pressure off maybe he can shine a little and settle. Playing dead rubbers now is very different to playing matches with a lot riding on them mid season, we have seen Fabio thrive of late as well.
Wolves manager Nuno Espirito Santo is being lined up for a move away from Molineux by his agent Jorge Mendes, with Aston Villa emerging as a potential destination for the Portuguese boss. (Football Insider)

Of all the Nuno leaving rumours I've heard that one sounds the least likely of the lot. I would wager a large amount that he is going nowhere
Yeah absolutely no chance Nuno goes to Villa. I would not be surprised at all if he left this summer though.
Don't know the ins and outs about his missus but it's fairly common knowledge she isn't in the UK, I just don't know if that was always the case or rather since Covid?
Man Arizona is burning, wildfires popping up everywhere. So sad.
I think MGW is one of those that we will live to regret moving on if we sell him without giving him a proper chance. He either needs to be given proper game time here or a loan to give him chance.
We have probably stunted his development by never really playing him.
What's up gem ? I turn my back a few days and you're in intensive care !
I should get yourself out of there mate.
Gibbs White has made 61 appearances for a wolves now, part or full games, and by and large he hasn’t grasped his opportunities. So I can’t see we have stunted his progress at all and he also got a loan chance at Swansea. I still believe he remains a good prospect and early 20s is nowhere near too late for him to break through. I thought he did well and Sunday and that means to me he has earned more chances whereas over the last couple of years he generally hasn’t.
On Sunday I thought Ait Nouri, Kilman and Silva also did well. Vitinha didn’t do as well as at Albion. Hoever was ok.
Big issue this season has been the lack of depth to our squad. The progress these players are making means we will have a deeper squad next season even if we don’t bring in lots of players in the summer transfer window (although I do expect a few signings)
Last season half of his appearances were 1 minute long at the end of the game. Difficult to grasp your opportunites in 60 seconds.

Big shame that he got injured at Swansea as he had settled well and was getting good reviews.

Seems there are still people out there with enough interest to construct and post such an article.
Trouble is, he posted on Spurs site, obviously not realising that we Spurs fans all gave up giving a damn ages ago.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It's called common courteously. We usually share match related threads with the club we are playing at the time. Fortunately, most clubs' supporters on this forum realise that they have the option of not reading or contributing, as is their wont, and don't get upset about it. ๐
For me the jury is still out regards MGW.
Yesterday was he best game by far for us, but I don't think that he will make a regular Prem player.
Hope I'm wrong but just don't see it.
Confirmed today that Molineux will be open for the last game of the season at home to Man Utd. Capacity limited to quarter full which means in the region of 7,900 fans. Look forward to the outcome of the ballot and then hopefully the first day out at a game in over 14 months
U23s drew 2-2 against Reading today and will now play away at Palace in the semi final of the play offs for promotion to the top flight.
Another goal today for Owen Hesketh. The 18 year old only started playing with the U23s in December and the midfielder has now scored 6 and got a number of assists. Signed a new contract today also and looks a name to keep an eye open for
Is he Welsh? Has done well so far

I do not think any eleven lads Spurs puts out on the pitch against Wolves will really have their hearts in the game.
Why would they?
There's nothing at stake.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
See what you did there? Heart and stake? Very good!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Ahha...you are not a vegetarian, I take it?
Silva definitely coming on, wish he had a bit more pace, BBC gossip says we are interested in West Brom loanee Diagne, seems to be a 6’4 goal scorer but with a bit of a track record for taking penalties when he was not supposed to and spitting, particularly successful in Turkey it seems - goal scoring wise
Would rather have Pereira.
I would rather we brought Mir back into the squad and spend money elsewhere on the team, than buy another striker who probably won't be good enough.
