I'm sure Spangles is suitably excited about the inevitable increase in season ticket prices for next season too.
Yeah, that will weed out the rest of the fake fans I suspect
Doesn’t take much to stir people up on here does it
Not really. You just have to be a and people react.
I do think £45 is steep for any game and unnecessary for this one
Anybody know how much my box in the Billy Wright will be? I pay by direct debit and never check the account balance because it’s so big.

300m?
Obviously doesn't factor in sales
Haha, DJ's point if you interpret it the way he probably intended is actually correct, and as he said himself doesn't disguise the fact that 45 is a bit much under the circumstances. Must admit I had assumed there would be a nominal charge like for a league cup game. Its not that I can't afford it even if having to get a ticket for young goldi too but just feels wrong given the circumstances.
It’s not been handled well. I applied as a group so we could sit together, just as I would for a cup tie. But I find out now we are in different priority groups. I contacted the ticket office and were told if we wanted to sit together we would have to wait until the last priority group could buy tickets. Why allow people to apply as a group if you’re going to do it like that

I think in the same period we’ve got in about £100m in sales
I feel uncomfortable about Raul ever playing again without knowing more about the medical risks , which would have to be explained to me in layman’s terms, how would we all feel if he had a knock with serious consequences? I am sure the club will want to be careful but as I understand it he has been training but not heading the ball so there must still be huge risks
They’ve been following the medical advice until now, and he has a medical review on the 18th that will decide if he can head the ball and go back into full training. It’s the clinicians calling all the shots, not the club, and not the player.
I'm pretty sure the club will take zero risks with Jimenez, his doctors are working to a time table and if he's ready to progress to the next stage he'll be ok to do so. Players recover from serious bone fractures all the time these days, particularly complex leg fractures so don't see why a skull fracture shouldn't heal sufficiently given time to do so. The worry would be whether there would be any long term concussion damage but again you would imagine that will have been assessed prior to him playing again.
Heard the other day that we're going to be playing at Stoke in a friendly in July, plan is that it will be one of the first matches to be played without any restrictions on crowd numbers. Should attract a decent crowd that.
Guess all the friendlies will be in England. Might go to Stoke if that’s true. Could be some other championship teams we will play. Maybe a Black Country ‘friendly’

Walsall?
Boly and Marcal both back in full training at Compton this week
Would give Boly the rest of the season off given it sounds like he was struggling with Covid. Assume Marcal will be let go in the summer as well.
Interested to read about Ronaldo and Messi this season. Them that used to be the best players in the world. Well maybe they still are.
Ronaldo is 6 goals clear as top scorer in Serie A despite having played less games than the next 6 highest scorers.
Messi this week scored his 27th goal of the year. That’s year, not season. Just into the 5th month and he has already scored 27 in 2021

Vlahovic with 21 for a Piish poor Fiorentina is really impressive

Marcal isn't on loan. We paid Lyon 2 million euros for him. He's on a 2 year deal.
I think Cinci means he will be sold Gem.
He is always injured and it frees up a spot and wages if we can move him on. I guess it could be a challenge to move on an injury prone, 32 year old left back who is within contract though. Time for some Mendes magic on that one I think.

36 years old Ronaldo and still he’s hitting 30 goals a season. Absolutely incredible. Both him and Messi are still ridiculous
I thought Marcal was one a one year deal, memory could be playing tricks though. He's looked good when he's been fit, which hasn't been often.
